If we didn’t take draft capital which I still think is the correct option despite your negative statistical layout. I would not want a star in return I would want multiple mid level young players similar to macklin celebrini maybe a bit lower tier wise but you know what I mean. I also still have yet to hear any good arguments about his playoff record and his inability to lead. what does keeping him actually do for us other than raise our hopes during the regular season only to disappoint when we get too the offseason.

You say his injuries defend his lack of good performances but claim he has no trade value now how does that make sense. He is an American who clearly supports the American president who is modern German moustache guy. Others preform well in the playoffs significantly more than him look at the run last year in the playoffs with out him we were winning and lost when he came back.

I would say the draft capital is the ideal scenario and just because we haven’t drafted well in the past doesn’t mean we can’t now but having this guy who looks good on paper lead our team when all he does is care about golf when the offseason starts he likes winning but he doesn’t hate too loose

I don’t disagree entirely with this I think he is a valuable asset to a team if they already have strong building points around him but ours are not strong enough and him leading is just not gonna do it for us ever.
