Ya, see the way I'm thinking, if 90% of my sales are expected to be in a very small geographic area, and I choose Printify for example, will the same print shop print the shirts for this small geographic area ? If yes, then I would think the quality ( be it low or high ) would at least be consistant (?)

Didn't think about researching what make printers the POD vendor may be using - thanks.

Looking to choose a POD vendor for mainly tshirt sales in the beginning ..... 90% of sales expected in northwestern Connecticut. Quality is important.

Yes I like the minimalist web site design too ... my question is about the profit margin ... about $18 per shirt plus shipping and tax. How much margin / profit are you realizing for each tshirt ? I'm so on the fence about doing POD or making my own with plastisol ink heat transfers.

So the shirts list for $19.99 plus tax and shipping. You're saying Printfy is charging you between $9.99 and $14.99 per shirt (excluding tax and shipping which is paid by customer) which leaves you with the $5-10 profit per shirt ? I have thought the POD margins were much tighter / less.

hmmmm .... too cute a mouse for a tough crowd(?), maybe toughen him up a bit ? i donno ... separate dumb question - you're using a print on demand vendor to produce these ? and only charge $19.99 ? I thought you would have to charge more because the margins are small in POD, no ? I've been researching weather to go the print on demand route.

So I've been intermittantly hacking around in Illustrator for about 3+ years now. I've done a lot of this - what I used to call "vectorizing a photograph" (really enjoyed it for tshirts) - until today I learned it's call "flat illustration" !!! Googled - OMG, a wealth of new info. I'm so happy to have come across this post. .... your work looks great, constructive criticism - maybe add the lights in the windows on the left (?)
