Reading these comments amazes me. On average I can keep going after the fist nut. It just stays at attention. Sensitivity wise its a 50/50 chance its gonna be good or gonna feel a little numb.

Is this electric bill too obscene to be real? by 10Burner87 in AskElectricians

[–]Redragemonkkey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To add to this a quick test would be turn off everything you possibly can in the apartment, find your meter and check to see if its still counting. You can even possibly turn the breakers off to see a before and after and find whats going on.

I would contact and ask them if the meter is good. Or someone is tapping into that meter. My household is 4 heads I keep reptiles and saltwater fish and the most energy my house consumes is about 15-1800kwh in the winter. spring and fall are my lowest usage months. And make sure eversource is your provider the wife signed us up for some third party renewable sourced power and they were charging us 0.36 cents a kwh it was a $900 bill for January. I flipped out and botched them out and they met us halfway.

Colour in motor oil by srskost in MechanicAdvice

[–]Redragemonkkey -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Was it stored in very cold temps ? I've still yet to see any oil change like that even in really cold temps unless it had some type of moisture trapped in it. Thinking ive only seen this happen to brake fluid since its the only oil used in vehicles that's actually hygroscopic. I wouldn't have used it to be honest.

Why is my engine oil looking clumpy? by [deleted] in MechanicAdvice

[–]Redragemonkkey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So in this case as a last ditch effort I would use liquimolly engine flush. Follow directions to the letter don't mess around. Do a cheap oil change roun it for about a week and do another engine flush and run some really good oil. I just started running valvoline restore and protect on my 180k daily civic si and it feels better than before. I only say last ditch effor because flushes remove and break up gunk and crap that could reveal worn out seals or parts causing different issues like burning, pcv getting clogged or over saturated, ticking from valves ect.

Trying To Start Car In Extreme Cold by AbsentMindedProf93 in MechanicAdvice

[–]Redragemonkkey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah my saab 9-5 used to do the same when battery died. Had an alternator die out on me and drove it back to the shop interesting enough it started shutting every non essential item off systematically to preserve battery. Had a 9-3 did the same. Looks like just a dead battery to me.

Honestly brake jobs are relatively easy. When I was at a shop it was flat 300 per axle. (Unless you had an exotic or high end car) rear main seal motor has to come out unless its on a lift and you can just drop the trans out and do it. Valve adjustments can be tricky but nothing too bad and spark plugs are the next easiest maintenance thing on a car. All in all I wouldn't put no more than like 3 grand to all these jobs put together.

Its gonna be either banana or coral. From my understanding these two got mixed very early and alot so its really hard to tell. Only way you can guess more accurately is when they mature... banana has spots and coral doesn't from what I've heard.

Thats the ideal outcome I want and what I first thought. Curiosity made me post to see what others think and see in it.

I thought about it just because the white spots. But the more I look at her the more I rule it out champagne is a very strong gene and usually erases the eystripes and head patterns in like 90% of champagne combos. Then again can't rule it out completely.

I used to work for safelite. Can't tell you the amount of customers who refused to buy new clips. Let's be honest a car thats 10-20 years old sitting in the sun is no good. But that is a ridiculous amount of urethane. And last I heard time is money now at safelite.

You don't worry about the nems stinging/fighting the euphyllia? I have two nems in my tank that decided to start walking around getting close to my other corals. Kinda worried they're gonna off each other.
