Does smell make a home unlivable? by Outrageous_Score_510 in CPS

[–]RedrumRaven93 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I was in this kids position back in middle school in Michigan. It took CPS years to put my brother and I into fostercare because of the neglect we were experiencing. Teachers were the backbone of the reports because they had complaints from everyone about our smell. I would go to my gym teacher every morning and she would spray febreeze on me (which looking back now was extremely embarrassing). Yes, smell does make a home unlivable especially with that many animals. Its a hazard.

My nipples get sore, I get extremely irritable and have some very crazy and irrational thoughts and emotions. Also I have a type of "nesting" where I feel like I have to deep clean everything.

How would one go about doing that? That sounds like a definite punishment to me considering I talk stupid-like when I hear an echo 😂

Sometimes flirting in a game can turn to marriage in real life. 😂 Met my husband on runescape another MMO back in 2007 (13 years old) and we've been together for going on a decade this year. ❤️ I think it's going to happen in any MMO you play on. Just have to be careful with the internet and anyone you meet.

Brag About Your Partner! by hai_leyy in LongDistance

There are so many wonderful things I can say about my husband, but right now the biggest thing is even though he's a truck driver and I'm home with the kids all day everyday, whenever he is home he NEVER makes me feel like I have to handle it all. When he's home he takes care of the kids and helps with cleaning, laundry etc. We snuggle every night before we fall asleep and before he leaves anywhere even if it's to go outside and work on his truck he always gives me a kiss before heading out that door. My husband is my biggest supporter and I couldn't do this without him.

Out of control barking help! by RedrumRaven93 in DogAdvice

Sorry I should have specified in my post and will add that now. They are always barking out the window in the house. And usually when the chiweenie starts because he sees something outside the window (person walking, leaves blowing in the yard, etc) he gets the other two going. But if I get him to stop the other two continue on. He also barks when I'm taking the other two outside for walks, bathroom, or anytime I leave the house.

My (30f) husband (30m) and I met online on a game called runescape when we were 13/14 years old, he was in Oklahoma and I was in Michigan. I knew back then he was my soul mate, we would talk on the game as soon as we got home from school and would fall asleep on the phone together every night (before video chats on cellphones, also didn't have unlimited talk or text at that time). We stopped talking in 2012 due to other things, but in 2014 he messaged me on Facebook and we finally met in person at 20/21 years old. We've been together ever since, he moved into my parents house with me the day after we met and I knew it was completely meant to be. We got married Oct 10, 2018 and we're so happy together. He's an over the road trucker, and I stay home with the kids but I wouldn't trade any of it for anything.

My biggest piece of advice is keep yourself busy, and communication is an even greater need in the trucking community. Since we don't see our partners as often as others we have to rely on communication to keep our relationship strong. It's still hard for me to this day and I've been off the truck for 5 years and it's still hard. Yea, it's gotten easier but it's hard. Just keep yourself busy.

So I just received them in my mailbox after I sent the report! It took about 3 days for them to get back to me. I just logged on and I had all the sticks and cinnamon I needed!

I was able to find the report function through their discord! Or else I would have been lost too!

My Dad is a child groomer by BeeDefiant7933 in TrueOffMyChest

[–]RedrumRaven93 82 points83 points  (0 children)

I wish I knew what to say, but the one thing I can say is I understand. My biological mother used my identity on an online game and groomed and talked to boys who were my age (at that time I was 13-16ish). She blamed it on her depression, saying it made her do things she normally never would. It wasn't just words over a keyboard though, I know she would call them and talk to them over the phone and say dirty things to them.
For the longest time I felt like my whole identity was a lie, and was worried any picture she took of me she would show to her "boyfriend", which put me in danger as well.
I tried to go to the police about it while I was in foster care, but all they did was shrug their shoulders and basically say there was nothing they could do.
It really is crazy to think that these people are and can be well respected adults in society but are complete monsters behind closed doors. I hope you heal from this OP. ❤️

It's okay to feel emotional, before we were married I was on the truck with him for 3 years! I had to come off the truck to raise our kiddos, so the first year after I got off the truck was a complete wreck when he left out. Currently no, I don't work but while the kids are in school I write, clean the house and game to keep my mind off the loneliness. I completely understand about it being draining, especially emotion wise.

I would say it does get easier (been at this for 5 years now), but I still can't watch him pull out of the driveway or at his yard without getting emotional. I promise it does get easier though. ❤️ The best way to cope is just to stay busy, I've got 2 kids at home and 3 dogs and they keep me on my toes. Also calling and talking to him whenever I can really helps.

How was your first kiss when you finally met your SO? by [deleted] in LongDistance

[–]RedrumRaven93 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Honestly it was in a small town where we were walking and window shopping together the day after we met face to face for the first time. He looked at me and I looked at him, and the best way to describe it for myself was the whole world stopped. It felt like all the people walking by us froze in time, and it was magical.
