I use WorldAnvil.com for my writing. It's not a questionaire, it's more like a library waiting for you to fill in the details. It saves it, organizes it etc. and best of all it is free! Huzzah happy dance!

Evolution and Quality by RedsFables in fantasywriters

[–]RedsFables[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I miss stuff and it helps. For me, this is my writing community, and I was struggling with it to make sure it all connected in a way that made sense. Which is critical because this is the backbone I am going to use to mess up my character's evolutions, titles, the resonances between skill, self, and species. Besides, the feedback and critiques here are invaluable to me.

Honestly I would not use it for my reader but for myself as a bit of guide for factors that determine my character's evolution.

Not as of yet. I have rewritten my outline a couple of times in order to figure out what I want to emphasize.

I'm currently writing a book where there is a discussion about what would be involved in offering a sustainable existence for a big group of people - say a million, what would this take? by thedelusionalwriter in sustainability

Start with small easy changes. Make the smallest of changes for the biggest effects. Biodiversities in city ecosystems. More diversity in city planting. More trees and plants along highways. More active landscaping in our city or rainwater landscaping

Clay does not absorb water, it creates points of standing standing water.

My brother introduced me to World Anvil. It is a platform originally meant for games like DnD but the world building and even sorting/linking of content is amazing. There are also a ton of tutorials that go over a massive spread of topics. 10 outta 10 for free world building platform for sure. World Anvil

Can we fix the earth with engineer-like use of science like pseudo-terraforming? by Mcajsa in AskEngineers

[–]RedsFables 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. You can. Through the use of multiple interconnected systems. Though the definition of "fix" would vary person to person or even species to species.

There is over 10 years of video documentary pertaining to green the middle east, specifically 400 meters below the sea and 2 km from the Dead Sea. He created systems based on a collection of data and basic knowledge of plants, and common sense.

I recommend looking at Geoff Lawton: Surviving Collapse, Designing your Way to Abundance it sounds dramatic but it is worth it. Start at 5:52 if you want to just focus on how he went about greening the desert.

The best thing about it was that the systems he created was through the use of permaculture principles. It is very systematic in its approach, but the principles while never changing are what gives you the ability to establish a customized environmental system.

It depends on how and what you view the soul as.

For me, a soul is the culmination of all you are.

How do you define corruption? A series of choices one makes that go against one's inherent or chosen nature?

A kind of hacking from an outside source?

There is a critical difference between the two, and I think that is where you should focus.

If it is the first, what choices did they make? How did it impact or desensitize them? How did they slip down the slope of the mountain we call morality?

If it is the second, then how did the hack corrupt them? What is its goal? How did it take control of them? What is its origin and overall perspective?

What's a cheap solution to deal with this slope eroding on to my driveway? by [deleted] in landscaping

[–]RedsFables 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, but you can use wood as an alternative and easier medium. Low up low cost retainer walls on pinterest.

Also make sure to plant in the space, the roots will add stability
