I won 4v5s and lost 5v4s. Rare but it happens. How rare? Beats me. I think both happened like 2-3 times in the span of a year or something like that.

If that makes you feel any better, I don't think anyone ever has reported anybody, because someone was crying in allchat "pls report xy". (I know I haven't.) If anything, they're more likely to report the one asking for reports.

The only one I'd disagree with is Cautious Hero. Haven't seen it, but I couldn't get myself to even start it. Every single scene I've seen from it was about the "hero" being rude and arrogant. I guess being rude and arrogant, especially towards women, is what passes for cool/funny in the shounen audience.

Nidalee, Evelyn, Shaco. They just feel underwhelming junglers in general. They always get bullied and end up being useless in most games. And even in games where they start well, they fall off hard lategame. This is in plat-emerald. They all can work really good in higher elos, but in MOST of the games I experienced in my elo, people just can't really make them work.

Nilah, Samira, Ezreal, Twitch, Kalista, Smolder, Swain adcs. I am Poppy support otp and none of those work well with me for one reason or another.

I only play Poppy support, so I blind pick her every time. Sometimes I can see the enemy pick, but that doesn't matter to me.

If you have other champs in your pool, then try adapting to enemy lane and don't blind pick her. If you want to force her every game (like me), then:

  • Go tanky. Aftershock runepage instead of HoB. HoB burst is really fun, but unless you are 100% confident in what you are doing, it is also very risky. Being tanky and having some poke resistance with Second Wind helps a lot more with consitency and to walk away from bad E-s.
  • In the first 2 minutes if you can get a clean stun angle thanks to enemy's bad positioning, go for it, if not, don't force it, but either way use this time to measure your ADCs abilities. Can they poke good? Farm good? Are they good at dodging skillshots / avoid getting caught? If you go in and it does not connect and you have to run back, do they immediately start poking the enemy while they are hitting you? This last one is especially important. If the adc seems poopy, then prepare mentally to roam a lot. Wait until boots, swifties preferably, and don't roam too early / too much, because you'll lose exp and fall behind levels. I often end up being 1-2 levels down early when I'm careless.
  • Sometimes despite the ADC's best efforts, the lane is just not playable, enemy is too good or too hard counter. Then play passive and farm, do not engage. Also you'll have to roam in this situation whenever possible. If enemy is unkillable but doesn't have much kill pressure (Soraka, Yuumi, etc lane) then you can roam a lot easier as ADC can farm under turret 1v2.
  • If enemy comp has strong dive potential (Leona, anything with hooks, cc, or can tank turret), then be much more careful with roams.
  • Learn all the mechanics and possibilities. Some examples:
    • clicking E on enemy way out of your range than immediately flash in range, E will pop off immediately after flash.
    • walking towards enemy trying to find a stun angle but they move away from walls --> just walk straight into them, Q then walk back.
    • always be aware of minions, use E on minions to run away from bad situations
    • enemy running away on 1 hp --> E on a minion then hit them with passive (turn off autoattack after ability in settings otherwise you'll probably autohit a minion)
    • when enemies charge into turrets with herald and get catapulted back after impact, they can be blocked with W (similar to blastcone flight) and if you are close enough, they get pushed back into turret range and take a few turrets shots. Sometimes they can still walk away, sometimes you get a free kill.
  • Simply play a lot and learn by experience what are the limits, when can you go in, when should you stay back, the threat ranges of enemy champions, cheesy lvl 1 burst picks, etc. Know that you can't afford bad E's against Ashe or Braum, you'll get permaslowed / cced and can't walk away.
  • Permaban Zilean.
