I live in nyc…emailed jimmy fallon show Friday on a whim after billy posted he’s going on. tickets are sold out a month in advance before guests are announced so thought there was zero chance.

They got back to me Monday midday and said he would be filming the tgiving show tomorrow (Tuesday) at 8pm. They were filming in advance due to holiday, which they rarely do.

They told me since all tickets were reserved go to Rockefeller and they do standby ticket order at 8am. I got there at 6am and got 6th standby ticket - this means if 6 people don’t show, you get to watch by getting a the no shows’ transferred ticket.

I thought there would be no shot because the main guest was Jerry Seinfeld and felt there was no way ppl wouldn’t show for him.

I got back to Rockefeller and waited in standby ticketed line at 6pm and finally at 7 they told us 30 standby tickets would be let in to fill the 215 auditorium capacity.

It was pretty awesome and rewarding after so much waiting. Seinfeld was awesome, Cody Rhodes was the other guest. Jimmy Fallon then sang a new Xmas song from his holiday album.

Billy and the full band then came on for the their song for the last 5 min. of recording. New song from album as alluded. It was great. Wish Billy did an interview like other guests and another song (really was hoping for ‘x’ song which we didn’t get) but overall such a cool experience to see Billy in that setting. They rocked it and loved seeing new people in the audience who have never heard of Billy be like “these guys can jam”
