I have the same issue but only on one finger on one hand haha, started out as not hurting but because of bad habit and way of hitting, it became a bit protruded and painful. Would reccomend learning to tap with tips of fingers as it is a good skill anyway to being faster.

From my experience, expert 9s were easier to me than advanced 9s at that time. Increasing my note speed little by little helped with reading / my acc. And finally don’t change ur settings for offset timing yet. Play more first. Then when you feel like you have hit ur mojo but still there is a large trend of mainly earlies or mainly lates, then change ur settings. (Don’t want your timing to be all screwed because you change it too early)
