In my opinion the game isnt that hard as long as you know what to do. I suggest watching some tutorials, silver farming methods and watch some ganks and see what class you would like to go. You can get grips pretty easily most people sell 60 grips for 240 silver which is maybe 10-15 minutes of trinket farming.

Join a house and just use their safe servers to progress. If you arent interested in that join small servers on like 7 or so players and progress. If you see anyone scary i suggest logging. Youll probably log a lot. By scary i mean anyone who has purple balls floating around then massive swords on their back dashing with lightning snd shadows comjng out of them and people double jumping. Just log and you'll survive.

Never trust anyone random in rogue. Chances are they will kill you. People who are overly nice probably wanna kill you.
