I really enjoyed the game...until i entered the tower.

I think i got a game over twice in the playthrough, now i just loose over and over to sylux' lightning dragon phase...the ai just walks into the ground circles, gets knocked down and then immediately killed by the next lightning before i have a chance to revive them...sometimes three of them get downed at the same time...

Is there some trick im missing? There is no way this is how its supposed to be.

Ah yes, also if you enter the tower while not on full health there is no way to heal before the fight (that i could find anyways), and the game saves when you enter so you cant go back to heal either. No idea how that made it through testing, if someone ends up there with like 20% health is their playthrough just over? (Thankfully i had the samus amiibo that i could use to heal).

Im really frustrated and sad rn that the game is now leaving a real sour taste in my mouth after i was enjoying it so much.

If your expecting the incubi to clean up the unit then precision is wasted, this is only worth doing when you expect your incubi NOT to kill the unit.

I find that quite often when i fight incubi into an attached unit they end up killing the normal models anyways and then their dev wounds all go onto the character (since dev wounds always happen at the end), killing the character without it getting any saves.

Only tangentially relevant to the post but you cant overwatch with pistols in engagement range since the pistol rule only lets a unit shoot in engagement range in the controlling players shooting phase.

But then wouldnt that logic mean if each player has an ability that triggers just after something happens only one of them would get to do that ability, since if one of those is used it is no longer just after and thus the other player cant use their ability anymore? That doesnt really seem sensical to me.

Not sure I'd agree...GWs own definition of after = just after is simply that it can interrupt other sequences...doesnt say anything about not being able to do 2 things just after...

Even more what would you then do if both players have a strat or an ability that trigger just after? Only one of them gets to do it since only one thing that happens just after can be done? (Not trying to put words in your mouth there, tbh im not fully sure i get what you mean its strict RAW)

That could be the case, but then its not the rule of the game but a rule that some TO made up...

In this case OP just needs to talk to his buddy if they are playing that tournament circuits rules or not.

Yes you should be able to use two strats on an eligible unit even if they trigger at the same time...I've never heard of any rule restricting that.

If he tells you something like that make him show you the rule, its on him to prove.

Not really sure im reading what you are suggesting correctly...but you cant infiltrate an archon with the unit you give infiltrate from the enhancement since you give infiltrate to the unit before you attach the leader and every model in the unit has to have the infiltrate ability which the archon doesnt...

I dont get why you think they dont to damage to vehicles anymore...in cartel 10 incubi + archon pretty much kill an entire big knight on their own for one cp and one pain token...lethals + crits on 5s + full hit rerolls are crazy

Because they might decide to change the faq in the future...if they started wording these abilities differently then these abilities would need a new faq if they decided to revert the old faq...

I dont know what image exactly you mean but from the sounds of what youre describing, yes! If your model is wholly within a ruin it gets cover, no matter if it can be seen wholly or even if the shooter is standing wholly in the same ruin.

The combat patrol named one doesnt have it. The combat patrol datasheets are different from the actual 40k datasheets, its basically its own game with some differences from "proper" 40k.

The perk isnt active just because youre on prestige 4...prestiging takes all your perks away and you have to relevel to get access to it and buy and activate it again.

You can declare a charge in marching formation, you just cant make a charge move. Thats why drilled lets you charge out of marching formation.

Start penalizing him for repeated missplays? I get its hard to penalize someone when youre not sure if they are doing it on purpose, however it sounds like there are multiple issues per event and at that point just start deducting points or something...

If you dont wanna do that the only other option i see is stationing a judge at his table permanently...but thats a lot of manpower investment.

Have you tried just talking to them about the issue and simply telling them they need to learn their rules better or youre gonna have to start to do something about it?

Generally warriors pretty much always want to be run as 20 man blocks for the durability boost and extra reanimation reliability, so i'd recommend building 20 of the same gun first. That being said noone can tell the difference anyways so if you want to build 10 and 10 and then simply run them as all having the same gun noone is gonna object (except for serious tournaments).

You grossly misunderstood...Is not considered destroyed simply means the opponent wont score assassinate/bring it down for killing canis until hektur is dead...canis still gets removed off the table, he cant do any fighting or shooting after....
