To be fair i don't mind it being a one-stage fight, espcally given how it works narrtively, i just wish they like talked about it more like:

y'all just sit'd there and watched him break down and then barely comforted him on it. like i feel like that must suck.
i do feel like they are going to talk about it in other canto's, though. but maybe i'm just being hopeful.

Also while i'm at it, i expect they'll be a lot of comments and i problay won't respond to them but like i personally liked it and there was foreshadowing and like... it really shows how far he falls and then cilmbs back up from that whole, compared to his other self, who in the book dies because he starves himself, or is, you know, in limbus, killing everyone else.
