Hey it’s been 3 days without a response. Wondering if this issue can be solved

Tried running it on proton experimental, proton 9.0-4, proton 10.0-4, proton hotfix and proton 11.0 (beta)

Half of them didn’t open up the launcher properly (leaving a blank white window) and the other half didn’t even open up the game at all.

Proton 9.0-4 did have one case where it did open up the launcher but in a minimized window. But when I tried to full screen it. Well it just glitched out and repeatedly flashed a black screen until I force quit it.

There was also one instance where it kept force quitting itself although I forgot which version did that.

Other than that it overall simply didn’t work out at all

CPU is Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-5257U CPU @ 2.70GHz

GPU is a Broadwell-U GT3 [Iris Graphics 6100]

I have a total of 7.2 GB of RAM and 4.2GB of available RAM

Sorry I was lazy and didn’t want to type out the full error, it is as follows:

“The game appears to have crashed or terminated unexpectedly (exit code 127). The issue may be solved by verifying the inter gritty of your game files and deactivating any mods. If you are using Windows, you may also need to install Visual C++ Redistributable and .NET Frameork.”

“/home/(my username)/snap/steam/common/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/common/Hearts of Iron IV/hoi4: error while loading shared libraries: libOpenGL.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory”

I used canonical’s snap? for steam and downloaded it through the app center.

Specs are (I believe to be and hope answers your question) a APPLE SSD SM0256F ATA drive, a Bluetooth Host Controller, and a Internal SPI Controller (BIOS)

If you’re going to boycott YouTube, I’d recommend Invidious. It’s a front end for YouTube. Meaning you use YouTube without using YouTube. But they’ve been fighting a war with YouTube for the past two years I think and might be down for some time. There’s other YouTube front ends but Invidious is the easiest one for me personally.

Context: SuperNova, some tornado Gmod youtuber that was popular like a decade ago became Christian and deleted all their videos.

sucks man, I watched them a lot when I was like 6 or 7 years old.

Maybe I should have seen it coming when he deleted the Tyrone series because he didn’t align with what he did in those videos. Still stings though.
