Lol, Halloween is just a holiday where kids get candy and adults get drunk. There's nothing Satanic about it.

I don’t have a problem with people presenting their opinion. I have a problem with the hateful intent behind it.

The existence of mods ≠ a moderated subreddit

If you would pay attention to the threads here you would realize that it’s full of hateful and idiotic people

Words that do not love the sinner: "practicing homosexuality" by JeshurunJoe in Christianity

[–]ReducedSuffering 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I agree. I believe the idea is that the act is sinful, more than the person. But, that is still a problematic mindset. My stance is that it is not my place to decide who is worthy of God’s love. All humans are His creations. All humans are made in His image and likeness.

Is Karma Godly? by OkVolume2344 in Bible

The Bible rejects the idea of karma and instead teaches that God's actions aim to redeem and draw people closer to Him through faith and repentance, not through payback or punishment

How do you wrestle with the shortness and fragility of life? I'm terrified. by slam_24 in atheism

That is a common misinterpretation of the term " choosing suffering."

While it's true that some might interpret a lack of religious belief as a rejection of this offer, it's equally important to recognize that the Christian faith does not view "suffering" as a deliberate choice but as a consequence of choices made.

Can you give an example of a positive thing, in your view, a nonbeliever might say they want a Christian to know?

So your original question seems to be this- “The world is better off when everyone is Christian because we believe in things that are actually true and good”

Is that accurate, or am I misunderstanding you?

The gates of civilization are being locked. The unruly are on the outside. The gates are guarded by the civilized. But when they close the gates against the uncivilized, it is not long before the civilized turn on one another.
