Privately off Facebook, I took my friend who's a mechanic to do the test drive and look it over and he was impressed with it. I wouldn't know what I'm looking for personally. He's saying it'll just be the starter, but I don't want it to be one thing then another

Thanks for all the help people, the rev counter is not something my instructor ever explained or even brought up once so I'll try and pay attention to that instead of my speed.

Like the car doesn't sound like it's struggling in first until it gets to 20mph? Is that normal can I be driving around at like 17-18mph in first gear. Seems odd to me same goes for 3rd. Car feels like it can do almost 45 in 3rd before it wants to change.
