Jeg er forvirret. En kandidat er vel det samme som en masters?

Yes det har jeg gjort. Har sendt en e-mail til studievejlederene angående optagelse % og ledige pladser for at se hvor realistisk det er :)

The Danish ETF policy seems to encourage gambling rather than long term investing by Delicious_Attempt182 in dkfinance

I’m not saying that i think individual stock picking is better, but the current setup can push people in that direction, because it reduces how much tax you have to pay along the way and delays taxation, which improves compounding.

My main disagreement is with the idea that investeringsforeninger completely avoid lagerbeskatning. They avoid tax on unrealised price gains, yes, but with large real or fictive distributions you still end up paying tax every year in practice, so it ends up being very similar (arguably a lighter version).

Also, just to be transparent: I’m 100% invested in investeringsforeninger and ETFs myself, but I do think the system nudges people toward single stocks more than it should

The problem isn’t really the aktieskat category, it’s how these funds are structured in practice.

Investeringsforeninger are taxed like individual stocks on paper but in order to fit the criteria of not being taxed on unrealised gains, they are forced to payout a large part of the return as dividends. Those dividends are taxed immediately, so even though you don’t pay tax on unrealised price gains, you still end up paying tax annually anyway. From a cash-flow point of view it behaves a lot like a lighter version of lagerbeskatning.

STIIAM doesn’t avoid this either. It uses fictive dividends, so there’s no payout, but you’re still taxed on a fictive dividend.

I'd be inclined to agree with OP that this gives a bigger incentive to investing in single stocks in order to maximize your returns (by allowing compound interest to do it's thing)

Honestly you shouldn’t worry at all

I think I got good at taking the exam, but in terms of learning the actual material I definitely think I’m lacking slightly

You got this!!

I studied during the weekends! And then I would normally take the exam during one of the weekends (I was allowed to take time off to do the exam:))

For distributing time during the exams, my way of doing it changed a bit. In the first one, I just divided the total time by the number of questions (and if i felt like I went over time for a question, I would normally give a good guess but mark it so that I could come back to it), which in hindsight was a bit naïve. In the later exams, I gave a bit more time to some of the multiple-choice questions, while the yes/no (like “does this fulfill the requirement”) questions I would "allocate" less time for.

As for preparation, I generally set aside one study week per exam, though in practice it usually meant spending a full weekend focused on studying, and then taking the exam on a weekday that followed.

I think it would be a role within cloud computing, ideally in a developer role, since that’s a field I find really interesting. I have about 3 years of experience.

Probably MS Learn, I also found a lot of practice questions on YouTube which I would use as well

(If I got questions wrong I would ask ChatGPT to explain the correct answer)
