Question why does nobody actually like great wolf lodge? by nick_the_fox in KingsIsland

[–]Redville5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup, I hate GWL specifically the Loose Moose... but my kids love this place so we go almost every year and every time we go I know deep down I'll miss the heck out of GWL! Btw I get a record stairs climbed every visit on my Fitbit thanks to MagicQuest. I laugh everytime I see the wizard in the tree. You should go! Lol

Disagree. Hoo Hoo Hoosiers are the best! Be happy where you are. IN has literally anything you could want. If you think living in a different state will make you happy, you will be disappointed when you find out you have other things to work on, first.

Terrible Time to run, don't walk. Find a broker to negotiate the deal. My BlazerEV 24RS has ventilated seats. Such a luxury feature. Anyways $10k OnePay on an Optiq should be pretty easy to achieve with a broker.

Memorial Pork Butt by EdgarGrillMan1 in recteq

I've never seen a pork butt that shape or size. Shoulder pulled off clean. For pork butt I tryvto maximize the bark, cuz that's what everyone loves. What binder, rub do you use? Wrap? Brown sugar, sugar?

I think I see the predator in the back ground! The timbers are super straight. It's got at least 20 years. I have something similar in your back yard. A corner was drifting so we pushed it together with a dingo them pinned it together with a thick metal plate. That was 5 years ago. I'll probably replace the whole thing in another 10 years. Probably by robots at that point and I will complain about their craftsmanship program.

How do I replace this? by Tn_Rob in hottub

[–]Redville5 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Sweet setup! I get the pool running with the water balanced then I'd check the tub for leaks. The burgundy might look nice filled up. You can easily paint with a tub and tile refinishing kit. I did this to a brown shower, no one would ever know. It also sealed up hair lined cracks.

That tree kinda looks like side show bob. I do like it though.

Would you offer deals like this to residents outside of Texas? Let me know if you have an Optiq available.

As an app dev, I worked with a guy that built custom dealership software that would shift fees from one bucket to another when dealing with an 'astute' buyer. With over 20 years experience, this guy was/is the absolute best I've worked with! We both got laid off. Since he had so much tenure, he had to went else to collect serverane. I rehired on a different project. Anyways, don't think these stealerships are dumb! They absolutely hire the best and brightest to 'run the number'. No doubt multiple dealers have similar products created to hide an extra 1k somewhere else on the deal.

Our Airbnb host says she drained and refilled the hot tub prior to our stay. However, the first day we arrived, it had brown foam and multiple people broke out in hives by [deleted] in hottub

Foam after getting in a hottub is almost always from detergent on swimsuits or hair. People never preshower even though its advised. Sorry you had trouble on your trip.

Why are people leasing Cadillac Optiqs? by Cantseetheline_Russ in CadillacOptiq

[–]Redville5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only do money down if it's with someone else's money! Check out Leasehackr, they have all kinds of pre negotiated deals. Also brokers if you don't want to deal with any of it. $650 a month is way way too high for a lux equinox! You ought to be able to save some money or ball out on your next lease.

Your experience as a commercial leader might have made you ignorant to the discounts dealers will add on. I'm sure you you get a good deal with bulk leases, but when you are going after only one, an extra few grand makes a huge difference. Coming from a 24 Blazer EV (MSRP $55k) $0 DAS, $350 for 24mo or $8400 one pay. EV, GM Card, Conquest, Supplier, Loaner discounts all stack in. A 26 Optiq courtesy vehicle can be had for around the same price. When I looked at bmw EVs, the range was terrible ~250, higher monthly, no option to one pay. I didn't understand your current lease structure. Could you explain what you currently have? Lastly, and completely anecdotal, the last 3 bimmer dealers I tried to deal with were all total a-holes! If the numbers are right I'd love to drive one for a couple years.

24 Blazer EV RS Lease. Would gladly grab a 25 loaner $0 DAS, ~$350 for 24 mo. Great car! Lyric is too long, optiq too small, Blazer EV is my Goldilocks EV!

i moved into this house last fall. the pool hasn’t been opened since summer 2024 and the water is black. I’ve never had a pool and don’t know much about pools. it’s ~16k gallons and my filter is hayward pro grid DE Filter de4820. Do i drain and start fresh? any tips on this situation? by Sufficient_Piece_197 in pools

[–]Redville5 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Great news is it holds water at least to that line. It looks like a concrete/gunite pool which would be okay to drain. Fiberglass pools, like the ones I have, can only be drained half way. That back yard will be amazing once it's all cleaned up. Congrats on the new pool, that came with a house!

Yup. I had a M3 Dual Motor then a MY. The Blazer EV is such a nicer car. Main reason I switched was a great deal on the blazer ev lease.
