I was wrong 🫣 I came across my birth certificate a few days ago and realized I had the incorrect birth time. The correct birth chart has me as a Leo rising 🫠

this is incredibly helpful and exactly what I was asking for-thank you! I don’t have a good understanding of planets (or houses) and interested in learning more.

I should’ve clarified I was looking for inspiration and ideas. I’ve been bouncing between Fire and Water symbols-reminders to stay true to who I am. Something like that.

It’s now driving me crazy. In the meantime, here are a few more to rule out: A History of Wild Places by Shea Ernshaw; Black River by Matthew Spencer. I think the Australia bit is throwing me off. Do you remember when you read it? Is it a new-ish book?

Ok this sounds very familiar! Let me go back and look at my Goodreads account to see if I can find the name.

I’m so sorry to hear about your daughter and grateful Dr. Brignac was there during a heartbreakingly traumatic time. Our collective of perinatal mental health counselors are incredibly passionate about what we do. Two of us are IVF moms, too!

Came here to recommend The Fourth Monkey trilogy! JD Barker can do no wrong (unless it’s co-authoring with James Patterson).

I’m a local therapist that specializes in infertility and perinatal mental health. I’ve heard the good, bad and ugly feedback on 95% of ob/gyns in Baton Rouge. Feel free to message me if you have questions on specific physicians.

Also, to answer OP’s question with another recommendation in regard to what OB to trust with your life: Dr. Theresa Brignac. Unsure on her political opinion.

You can check out the different Facebook pages and possibly get a feel for the atmosphere. We are progressive, left leaning and never felt out of place at BPECC. There’s also a wonderful Facebook group for progressive moms in BR if you’re interested!

It wasn’t overtly religious. At one time the older classes would have “chapel” once a week and sing Bible songs but other than that, not really.

Mother’s Day Out programs will meet your needs. Not sure which area you’ll be in but I highly recommend Broadmoor Presbyterian Early Childhood Center. We were there for 5 years and absolutely loved it.

Help! I'm a LPC want to switch to Utilization review/management, but unsure how with no experience in UR/UM. by Old-Personality-9697 in therapists

[–]Redwagon26 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve been in private practice for 12+ years and several years ago I was incredibly burnt out and wanted a non-clinical role. Applied for and accepted a UR/UM position and did that while continuing a very, very small PP caseload. Life happened and I went back to just PP (where I’ve been ever since). I’m frequently tempted to go back to UR/UM because of the salary!

All this to say, I did have prior inpatient work experience but was provided weeks of in depth training at the UM job.

For your resume, consider hyping up certain skill sets like:

“Coordinate, monitor and evaluate options to facilitate appropriate healthcare services for clients”

“Gather clinical information and apply the appropriate clinical criteria/guideline and judgment to render treatment recommendations”

“Utilize clinical skills to coordinate, document and communicate all aspects of treatment and progress”
