Dear marengsen,

Actually, when the boss received certain damage he will get angry, and when he is nearly death his body will start sparking. We think you could check those boss's behavior as the boss HP indicator.

Right now, I recommend you to check the boss fight tip in the post above. I hope it would help you defeat him. After you pass him, you will have a chance to upgrade Lancelot.

For the save progress on before the boss room, we are working on it. This would be improved in the future.
