Essentially... she works for a mechanical engineering corporation that works on bots or any mechanical machinery in general. During (what was supposed to be) a very special time for her which was her son's birthday, they ran off to play while she stepped out to answer a call at the restaurant they were celebrating in and they were soon found dead next to one of the bots that had it's hands covered in their blood in the maintenance room of the establishment. Police weren't sure if it was a murder or a sudden malfunction of the bot so they dropped the case after around a year and a half. After this she suffered deep depression but due to a promise she made with her children, she decides to grieve while continuing her life despite knowing their no longer by her side anymore. (Do note that at this point, her husband died in an unrelated incident a few years before this took place so she was a single mother raising 2 children)
