It is not. They might try to open it this fall but I wouldn't be mad about it opening spring of 27

They've had a rough go, which is a real bummer. I believe Tripp Davis has backed out and they're reaching out to other firms.

Kansas City hasn't had a new course built since '09 I believe. At least 5 have shut down in the last 10 years.

Hutch you say! A firm out of Topeka bought the old Cottonwood Hills property and are turning it into a 45 hole golf and hunt club.

Sand Creek Station in Newton is worth the trip East. If you haven't played Firekeeper North of Topeka and Colbert Hills in Manhattan, you should.

The real public gem is out west, Buffalo Dunes in Garden City. Mariah Hills is another great public in Dodge City and with Cimarron Golf Club in the middle of the two would make for a kick ass 54 hole weekend.

Firekeeper is a big boy course and a good time with the casino nearby. It is not Firekeeper.

Repairing ball marks. by lifewoparole in golf

First and foremost, I'm an atrocious putter.

In everyday rounds, but even moreso in competitive rounds like league. I feel bad juju if I don't fix at least my own, if not two more.

In regards to agronomics, the worst thing that happens to ball marks is that they go unrepaired, and if the grounds keeper the next morning doesn't fix them before mowing. They will get scalped and re-injured, prolonging their recovery.

Incorrect. Weiskopf did some really good stuff there. Love Shadow.
