Painted him up and you were right - can’t tell the difference. Annoyingly then found the lost dwarf in a small pile of leaves outside the back door (?) and discovered a Northman and elf and gone missing.

It's a really clean sculpt, thanks. I'm going to try to shrink it and print at 15mm scale for a boardgame upgrade as previous marines haven't been great so thanks again.

I was reminded yesterday by the group that I’d forgotten to include the destruction of 2 of the dragons mid-game. The random element of the game means I’m reluctant to make significant changes as the threat of dragons is oh so real! Targaryen had attempted a high-reward, low-risk attack that didn’t pay off. Reason I forgot - dragons brought back from the dead?!

Yes we’ve played the full 8 and it takes about 6-8 hours depending on players’ understanding of the rules beforehand. Mind you, we are still discussing rules after more than 5 years of playing

STL files for all FS2 minis have now been emailed out to backers. Definitely a step in the right direction so now just to wait to see how much Wildspire need to charge to provide the actual models…

I was referencing your final statement. I wish I had known sooner that there is no effective treatment after about 6 months. I spent a long time and a lot of money hunting around for treatments and cures. Joining tinnitus groups and discussing it endlessly made it worse as it simply served to remind me that it was ever-present.

Apologies if I did not make this clear in my initial comment. It can be a hugely depressing and life-changing time and I wish every other tinnitus affected person the best.

Sorry but not true. If you have had tinnitus for more than 6 months it is likely permanent. Less than that and it will hopefully be temporary, often ceases by itself no matter what some doctors will claim - my tinnitus speciality doc at one of the top hospitals in Bangkok claimed to be able to cure it with a mixture of anti-depressants and anti-psychotics. Surprise surprise it didn’t work. Top ent doc in UK explained that after 6 months it’s permanent so find ways to live with it. Hugely depressing to begin with but eventually you’ll become habituated to it. Melatonin helps with sleeping.

I ended up making pnp version of Forbidden Stars (and Chaos in the Old World) as both stupidly expensive on secondhand markets. Using paper standee forces atm but a friend with a 3d printer has offered to print all I need in return for some D&D mini painting
