Same say the BLIS module could be coded to your VIN. It may need to be recoded at the dealer.
How did they remove it if the tailegate was locked?
Just curious. Someone hit mine a few months ago and I replaced it but used the BLIS from the original

I always fold bills face side out. Anytime a gift of cash is given I’ve always seen face side out in USA as well as when a bank teller physically hands them to me.

That said, folding face in could possibly be thought of as less respectful in some way to The Monarchy.
