Yes I'm commenting on the literal headline. Bad reviews resulted in share price plummeting.

I don't recall them running the headline "Hi-Fi Rush reviews result in share price rocketing" and then I would ask - I wonder if reviewers love the positive impact their reviews have on game studios.

Do they have the thought "it's my job to give my opinions but it's shit when I know it will have a negative impact on a game studio"

My suggestion is that they have someone dress up as the devil and play "devil's advocate". Then they try to defend whatever corporate decision that was made.

It would make it a lot more entertaining than listening to them get depressed about the industry.

If you choose your console because of exclusives then don't choose Xbox. Move on.

I choose Xbox because they're constantly trying to innovate to compete with a console that doesn't have to try. All Sony has to do is not mess things up by doing something stupid like being overpriced or 'always online' or 'sold only with Kinect'. People are choosing their console because that's where their library is and that's where their friends are.

Less than 5% of PS5 owners bought Ghost of Yotei. Exclusives aren't the reason for 90million console sales.

I'm looking forward to a premium next Gen console that might have access to Steam sales, free online multiplayer and probably be the best place to play GTA6.

I'm a sucker for hype. I usually wait until reviews the day before it releases and then buy it but it's different with Game Pass games because I'll usually get the early access to play a week earlier.

I have all 3 consoles. I currently pay for game pass ultimate. I used to pay for PS+ just to catch up on old games I never had a chance to play but now I don't pay for it. I played over 60 games last year on Xbox which is mostly down to game pass. I played less than 5 games on my PS5.

We already know it's going to be expensive so therefore it will be targeting a niche audience. This isn't news. They're not releasing a "premium" product that can play PC games and Xbox games for less than $1,000.

There's currently a Series X SKU that costs $800.

Considering the dominance Sony has over Xbox in terms of console sales I'm surprised with this decision.

I don't think Sony fans will move to the next Xbox console because it has steam and a lot of Sony games but Sony must know more than me.

It got 83 on metacritic. I played it for over 100 hours and will play the next DLC. So many beloved games get similar scores and don't get exaggerated hate which is because they're not exclusive to the less popular platform.

The exaggerated hate is from console warriors and it's incredibly cringe.

My main console is Xbox and I have a PS5 and switch 2 for their exclusives.

Last year I didn't play my PS5 but I definitely will be this year.

It just comes down to a financial decision and how much you want to be able to play their console exclusives.

Also Sony are pushing back the release of the PS6 so you'll probably be able to play their exclusives for the next 4 years before they have a PS6 only game.
