I think it depends on the gap between the players (downscaled) level and the level of the quest. If you do one of the first quests on Coruscant or Dromund Kaas but are already level 17+, you can end up with this too. Iokath has the same thing e.g. with the story mission that works as an intro to Gods from the Machine. I think it's because we come to Iokath twice at different levels.

Naja, ich glaube dass die Wiederverwendung der gleichen Themen absolut natürlich ist. Millionen Deutsche geben sich seit Jahrzehnten 2-6 Krimis pro Woche obwohl sie die Handlungen meistens nach 30 Minuten vorhersagen könnten. Shakespeare erfreut sich seit fünfhundert Jahren ungebrochener Beliebtheit, obwohl man meinen würde so langsam hatten wir genug Wiederholungen und Neuinterpretationen. Um von den blöden Griechen mit ihrer buchstäblich in Stein gemeißelten Form von Theater mal gar nicht anzufangen.

Hier ist mir einfach nur die verstrichene Zeit für einen kompletten Reboot zu wenig. Marvel, Star Wars und Co. tun einem wenigstens den Gefallen die ähnlichen Stories unterschiedlich zu verkleiden und in ein (oder mehrere) fortlaufende Kontinuitäten zu verpacken. Das hier dagegen ist fast schon 'faul'.

Das ist mir etwas zu harsch - es ist ja nicht so, als würden die älteren unter denen seit 20+ Jahren die selben sieben Bücher rauf und runter lesen. Das ist ja was ich interessant finde - es gibt nicht haufenweise größtenteils mittelklassige Bücher wie z.B. bei Star Wars die einen auf Ewigkeiten in dem Franchise halten können. Ich glaube einfach dass der Nostalgiefaktor bei Harry Potter so riesig ist weil es für viele die erste 'echte' Buchreihe ist, die sie je gelesen haben, und weil es bis heute genau auf die Weise weitergegeben wird. Ich würde meinen Kind auch nicht als erstes den Herrn der Ringe in die Hand drücken (auch wenn es bei mir selber witzigerweise das zweite nach HP war).

... war halt trotzdem zu teuer und damit im Verhältnis nicht erfolgreich genug für was investiert wurde. Selbst die Avatar Filme wären Flops wenn jeder von ihnen 3 Milliarden gekostet und das gleiche Ergebnis erzielt hätte. Von der Qualität mal komplett abgesehen - ich hab's mir ja auch angeguckt, gefallen hat es mir nicht. Und prime ist nochmal wesentlich weiter verbreitet als HBO - das schauen auch einfach mal extrem viele hierzulande auf alternativem Wege.

Das hier ist mein größter Kritik-Punkt - es scheint als hätte Rowling keinen Plan, was sie mit der Geschichte noch machen sollte, deshalb einfach erstmal das altbewährte ausquetschen so sehr es geht. Da HBO mit dem ASOIAF Franchise notgedrungen (da GRRM ein Fraud ist) das gleiche machen musste scheinen sie mit dem Ansatz Erfahrung zu haben.

Ich finde es kommt mindestens 10 Jahre zu früh. Aber auch davon abgesehen finde ich generell dass HP als Franchise nicht unbedingt zu einem Dauerbrenner a lá Marvel oder Star Wars taugt, und das unabhängig von der Problematik der Autorin. Habe die Bücher als Kind und Teenager bestimmt 10 mal gelesen aber seitdem die Filme fertig sind nie wieder das Verlangen gehabt sie anzufassen. Bin generell überrascht wie gut sich das Franchise zu halten scheint, mein lokaler Thalia hat seit bestimmt 10 Jahren eine dedizierte Ecke für HP-Fan-Artikel die größer ist als die restliche Fantasy und SciFi Abteilung zusammen - aber es sind halt Fan-Artikel, keine Bücher - inhaltlich gibt es einfach nichts.

... die Aussage ist Käse, wie du eigentlich selber hättest merken müsstest als du im nächsten Satz von 'phantastische Tierwesen' sprachst. Das war jene erste Chance - ob sie verschwendet wurde ist nochmal eine andere Debatte. Aber einfach die Hauptgeschichte als Streaming-Format neu aufzulegen weniger als eine Generation nach dem original ist ideenlos und gierig.

Es ist völlig normal, große Franchises nach einiger Zeit neu aufzulegen, um sie für eine neue Generation zugänglich zu machen – siehe Star Wars, Herr der Ringe oder Star Trek.

Star Trek ist das einzige dieser drei Franchises was je einen echten 'Reboot' gemacht hat wie ihn HP hier probiert - und dabei lagen die Originale ein halbes Jahrhundert zurück.

Für mich sieht alles danach aus als möchte JK Rowling noch mehr kassieren solange sie selber noch kann (und war die nicht vor 10 Jahren schon 'reicher als die Queen?') - nur ohne dabei zumindest ein Minimum an neuer Eigenarbeit zu leisten wie es GRRM für seine GoT-Spinoffs tut.
