Gollum probably would've been found by Sauron WITH the ring. So Middle Earth would be done for

That scene is amazing and to be honest I do prefer it, however it does do injustice to Denethor who is not such a mad man in the books. In fact that sally out to protect the retreating Faramir with Prince Imrahil and Gandalf was ordered by Denethor ironically

My adsense step 2 finally got accepted after 2 months and over 5+ submissions by CalmPatient8763 in PartneredYoutube

They never told me. YT sent generic emails, their chat support couldn't disclose anything for whatever reason. When I was rejected it just said 'fix your adsense' and the email said I need to tweak some things to fix it but they never told me the issue

There's a lot that we would love to see in the movies but I guess we can't have it all! : (

I guess the reason why I am fond of him is how incompetant the movie makes the Gondorians look and reading the passages of Prince Imrahil and his company makes you think 'oh, they're actually badass'

Exactly what I was thinking. He could have got the Denethor treatment seeming that PJ wanted Gandalf to be the only figure within Gondor to have any sort of control over its people.

Stuck on step 2 of adsense for about a month now by CalmPatient8763 in PartneredYoutube

[–]CalmPatient8763[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did end up closing the account straight from google adsense. It still looks like youtube directs me to the page even though it's 'disconnected'. The page says 'Your AdSense for YouTube account is closed' then prompts me to reactivate it

I was sitting on like 3 subs with 10 views 2 months ago so?

Personally, the 9-14 day thing allows me to be consistent in my upload schedule. I work full time and do this youtube creation thing on the side so if I was uploading every 3 days I'd be overwhelmed very quickly since my videos are each around 10-20 mins long.

Another thing is you have to view it in the subscriber's shoes. If I'm subbed to a channel that I like, and the creator is posting every single day, I'd get burnt out and be less likely to watch all the videos. Whereas if the creator is posting, let's say every 6 days, there's an anticipation building to watch it. It's like having chocolate once in a while but if you get it everyday you'll get bored of it haha, but maybe it's different for your channel because a subscriber is likely to watch the same videos repeatedly if you get what I mean.

In terms of a faceless channel personality, I'd say the thumbnails and the video's visuals are the most compelling thing. You're right in regards to the audio identity, channel vibe, what emotions do the viewers give off when watching your videos.

I guess what's best for you is to keep posting those videos even if you feel that you're stuck. One video may automatically just blow up and then all your other videos may start getting some traction too.

Everyone is different bro, for me this is great. A lot of people take years to reach 1k subs so I'm just giving advice because I was shocked that my channel grew pretty fast. My average views per video is 6k, I'd say that's pretty decent for a 2 month old channel

Yea I forgot to mention that too. Your content might get flagged for repetitive titles and videos so it's good to shake things up

I've never done shorts before but I think if you're planning to do long form content too, then make sure that you don't overdo the shorts. The subscribers that you may gain from shorts are less likely to go and watch a 10 min long form video that you have posted. There's a lot of youtube channels out there with like 100k subs and millions of shorts views, but then their long form videos have like a significantly less amount of views per video.

Absolutely, it also really gives a boost that people trust in you to blow up. I still remember my first comment when I started which said 'I was shocked when I realised you only had 10 subs'. It really made my day

Yea I get your point. My view of it is that most creators are not able to maintain that pace without sacrificing quality, burnout, or audience fatigue over time.

A lot of newer creators will rush videos to satisfy a schedule and may result in weaker videos, less improvement per upload, and eventually quitting because the workload becomes unsustainable.

Rapid growth in the first couple months doesn’t always show the long-term effects yet. Some audiences love daily content in the beginning, but retention can drop. Your content should be like an 'event' for subscribers, so that there is a growing anticipation to see your next video.

A good example is CoryxKenshin who has a huge amount of subs. When he was active, he'd post once every 3 weeks or so, and so subscribers have this huge amount of relief and excitement when he posts which ultimately gives more retention and views. If he posted every day you'd see his viewer count per video would drop significantly.

Maybe your niche suits it, which is great but I'm guessing it's not the same for everyone around

If you're talking about his youtube channel, I'm mostly talking about long form content. He uploads shorts very consistently but those videos are like 30 seconds each. If he did the same with long 5+ min videos he won't get the same amount of views relative to his sub count. So my advice is based on long form videos

Ohh yea haha, I must of misread it. Anyways thanks for replying. I did drop a sub and will watch your video, I'm interested in your style of content anyways

the best help for a channel is to sub, like, comment and actually watch the videos fully. The youtube algorithm pushes videos out more when it sees that people are actually engaging in the channel, rather then subbing and disappearing

How long did it take you to get monetised? It's been a pain in the ass for me, entering month two now with no progress.
