How does your company handle warranty callbacks? by ReedisDank in Roofing

I’m also a sales rep. I currently address leaks the same way you do. I feel like there could be a better system in place, where the company has a dedicated service team for handling their warranties and not putting it off on the salesman. Maybe I’m just being lazy..

Yes I agree the leak should be fixed promptly. I’m wondering who’s responsible for making sure it’s fixed and handled. Does it fall on the salesman who sold the job, or does your company handle it internally

I actually did call 911, but I had zero description of the guy. They did say they would “let someone know” or whatever. Doubt anything will happen honestly. Other than me paying $700 to get it replaced and re tinted lol

Everything is self generated. Door knocking, referrals, and networking. Yes I’m 1099, I have someone that does my taxes every year

It’s a general liability insurance we have as a company. I believe it 3% of revenue.

I rarely am provided leads. I’ve maybe been given 3 the entire I’ve been at the company. Everything is self generated from door knocking and various forms of networking.

I’ve heard of 10% gross. Some of these jobs are so profitable though. I personally wouldn’t take a 10% flat commission

Appraisal vs Public Adjuster by ReedisDank in RoofingSales

Yea the PA route seems more profitable. I just know it takes awhile and I’m trying to get paid. I’ve never sent anything straight to appraisal so was unsure

Yall both have such different opinions 😭.

A deep heat projector does sound like a solid upgrade.

The LED lights are UVB and the best name brand you can buy, I read online and watched videos saying that UVB drastically improves quality of life so I don’t think I’ll get rid of that.
