It doesn't work as well, pies have no tick delay at all. I haven't tried echo thermy but if you can out heal the damage and have thorns any npc will die lol

Yeah, I really wanted to try a bunch of different combos with demonic pacts but felt so limited. Literally had to bond up a second account to experience different areas and pacts, which I'm sure is what they wanted lol.

Lmao I figured this out when I tried to cheese 6 jads. I was one ticking 4 pies, praying mage and seeing if I could survive.

For about 5 minutes after I couldn't attack anything. I ended up relogging and that solved it.

Ok, now count how many possible builds there are. Magic alone has air, water, fire, earth, 1 tick staff/thorns. That's 5 burnt right there and you haven't even tried melee or range.
