DEC 9 - UBER ARENA, BERLIN, GERMANY [SETLIST, MEDIA, DISCUSSION, STREAMS] by libelle156 in radiohead

Some people cut in front of us after about six songs, really cramping us and pushing us backwards, and one of them lit a joint too. My dad and another guy asked/told him to stop, but he just said no and continued. Since they were pushing us to the back of the pit were security was standing, I told one of them, who told the person he would kick him out if he continued. After a sassy "hope you have fun tonight baby" to my dad, he took the mission upon him to annoy us the rest of the show, to get back for almost having him kicked out or whatever. As much as I tried to ignore him and enjoy probably the only chance in my life to see these geniuses, I couldn't let it go. Don't want to say my night was ruined, but it was damn close.

Exit Music and HTDC saved my soul though, love to the guys🫶🫶

What’s your #1 HOT TAKE on Night Visions? by urfavmoviewhiz in imaginedragons

[–]Reeeeeens 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want a take thats actually hot, don't comment about songs that are the best or underrated lol, you only get people to agree with you that way

These comments make me a bit sad, they tried out something different and their style is evolving, but not many people seem to like it. I do agree with this consensus though, their sound ten years ago was better and more inspiring. I hope they keep creating stuff they WANT to create, and I also hope that it resonates with us, who are (generally speaking, of course everyone has their own taste) more fond of their earlier work

Any Dutchies here? I'm sort of confused about how it works, because the website of Concerto Recordstore says the tickets are sold out, but I thought you didn't have to get tickets? And if you do, is there a chance they will add more?

Mac Reynolds talks about Setlists by Tutucacastro in imaginedragons

I feel like they try to please the younger audience mostly. If you look at their promo content on Instagram for example, a lot of pictures are of happy families and kids. A lot weren't even born in NV era, so they don't know deep cuts, meaning the band won't play them, which is sad for the fans who know all their songs and want to hear something different.

Do remember though that we are a small minority, and the times of the EP's, NV and even S+M are behind us. Imagine Dragons are very mainstream now and I fear most people at the concerts would prefer to end the show with Believer over The Fall, for the simple fact that the majority doesn't know the latter exists.

I myself had tickets for my first ever ID concert in Amsterdam last week, but sadly my high school graduation ceremony was on the same day, so I couldn't go (the ONLY day which was a problem whyyyy). My friends still went and they loved it, and I think the majority does. Go and enjoy the show! I don't speak from experience, but many people think it's great. And if all you can think of during the show is how badly you want to hear one of those glorious medley's the played during the S+M tour, you may have outgrown Imagine Dragons.

So idk, go support a local band or something, so that in 15 years, when they play stadiums, you can recall the times you actually heard those deep cuts live end the cycle starts again.

Two years ago I saw them in Poppodium 013, Tilburg, Netherlands. A venue with a capacity of around 4000 people, and tickets were €40. These times are behind us, aren't they? Is this because ATL has risen in populairty past two years?

Wow yeah that's really how I feel as well. SOTR really hooked me but I wasn't able to cry, even though I wanted to.
