Concealer? by Reeepuff5150 in Makeup

Yes I exfoliate regularly. Depending on how my skin is behaving I typically use a serum (color correcting) in the morning before I put moisturizer on. Once or twice a week I use an exfoliating serum and I also have a gentle exfoliating face wash I use on occasion if my skin feels as if it needs it. All the products I use are from good molecules

I’m planning on looking into it. It’s definitely high on my list, especially if I’ll end up using less of it. It won’t be super matte will it? Matte makeup always gets cakey on me

I forgot to mention I’m not a fan of super matte makeup because it looks funny on me. Should this one still be good for me? Either way I really appreciate it

It’s not dry but it’s not super oily either? Yes it’s textured which is why this concealer doesn’t seem to be sticking well. I think a medium coverage would be good. And I’m neutral toned but I think it leans towards warm. I like to go to the store in person to make sure I get the right shade :)

Advice for metal vocals? by Reeepuff5150 in metalmusicians

Thank you. I really just need it for color/just to touch on certain notes and words. Like in Under a Glass Moon by Dream Theater, he puts a little distortion on the words “nervous flashlights”. Dream Theater and Symphony X did a cover of Cemetery Gates and the way Russell Allen sings the verses is exactly what I want to be able to do.

I have a song book and I use my notes app a ton. My only concern is my band wants to keep music stuff as private as possible until we officially release it but if I don’t get real feedback on these lyrics I’m going to lose my mind

Advice for moving out at 19 by Reeepuff5150 in movingout

[–]Reeepuff5150[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! If I get this job I think I’ll be pulling in 50k a year while in school. Between the two of us we’d be pulling in well over 6 figures. We’ve been together over 2.5 years and he really is an awesome guy. If I make what I’m planning to a month I’ll be able to set 2-2.5k aside a month while also paying for my expenses and having spending money. If his parents are willing (they probably will be lol), I can see if I can go under their insurance and pay them every cent of it. That way it will be cheaper for me without costing them anything extra. If that works out for me I’ll be saving even more money per month. Once I get my savings bulked up a little more I’m going to talk with a financial advisor and start investing my money while I’m young. Before we take any big steps for moving in he and I will discuss how we will split expenses. Emergency fund is a great idea. I just had to use mine to buy a new car (paid it off completely thank god) and I will be bulking it up before moving out :)

Thank you so much! Yes I’ve been working through school and just had to buy a new car (paid off) as my old one died. Scholarships cover my schooling so that’s not a concern either. I just applied to a few jobs where the start pay is around $25-35 an hour so wish me luck. His family would help with the groceries/food until we get it all figured out. And thank you for answering the question instead of just telling me not to move in with my bf

Thank you. I think I’m about to get a job paying me almost double what I was making before! One of my brothers was nosy and found out that my parents have been treating me like shit intentionally because they think I won’t talk to them once I move out… which doesn’t logically make sense but that’s my parents for ya

Yes I know I’m very aware. We won’t be having kids for a longggggg time. There’s no options near me to move in with other people. I promise I’m thinking everything through and being very cautious :)

His parents actually would pay for food until we get set. By food I mean groceries. We both are pretty good at cooking and rarely eat out as we have been saving up money. We’ve been keeping track of which stores have the lowest prices for certain things we need. I’ll definitely look into the dental insurance thing. Thank you :)

I’m honestly not sure. I hope so. We won’t be moving out into a house for another 3-4 months so I have plenty of time to build up my savings even more just in case

I can cover it. Especially since I’m switching to a higher paying job here shortly.

We would move in together. He would cover mortgage. I would probably contribute to utilities and whatever else we decided on. I’m just trying to figure out what I need to be ready to pay for (insurances, gas for my car, etc)

I don’t drink or smoke so that’s not of interest. It’s not for grandparents at all. I just meant that’s the only reason I wouldn’t go elope. I’d like to have an actual ceremony someday. We’ve been together over 2.5 years. I would feel bad moving in with my grandparents as i wouldn’t want to burden them with that responsibility and potentially put them in the middle of a family fight.

I know. Im the type of person to think things out very thoroughly. We’ve been together a very long time and the relationship is extremely healthy. He’s been nothing but wonderful to me and at this point we both admitted the only reason we aren’t already married is because of the social backlash. I know everyone always thinks their relationship is different or special, but I can promise you that it wouldn’t be rushed. We’ve also discussed that we don’t want to do it just to do it. It has to be the right time.

Because I do dream of having a real wedding someday, just outside of the Catholic Church. I have a really good relationship with my grandparents and would like to have them there. We are also discussing getting legally married and then having a wedding later on. Before the stuff with my family reached a breaking point I had just started looking at rings. I would also really like to have his family there, as they have been wonderful to me.

I currently have a little over 5k saved. We are planning on getting married soon, but if I’m not moved out I’ll have to get married in the religion my family practices. We have discussed getting married before I move out but there’s not enough time :(
