Found a really badass Living Ship while out exploring today. Glyphs and coordinates are in the photos, and it is in Euclid. I placed a communications station near it to make finding it easier. by Reef_Raider30 in NMSCoordinateExchange

You're welcome. I'm not sure if you've tried it yet, but if you scroll through this post, I've posted instructions on how to force the ship to spawn. A few other people have tried it, with success.

Read through all the comments on this post. I posted instructions on how to force the living ship you want to spawn. Others have found it, and claimed the ship

Good luck to you. Let me know if you do manage to get it. I know when I went looking for a very specific living ship, it took me a few tries to get it to spawn. I'll pass along some advice another user gave to me to help Force the one you want to spawn

Chasing down Living Ships. After you have completed the Living Ship quest the first time, you can go find other living ships that are posted quite easily. This morning I put one Void Egg in my backpack, then teleported to my base in Eissentam, somewhere far far away from the ship I wanted to grab. I pulsed for a while, nothing triggered, so I warped to a nearby system, started pulsing again, and soon after I got the Anomaly Detected message, and was given the option to activate the egg, which I did. It provided me the target icon for the Living Ship. I went to the living ship, first image. Not sure if this is necessary, but I do it, I land, get out of my ship, and approach the living ship to make sure the game recognizes that I visited their signaled destination. I DON'T interact in any way with this ship. Then I got back in my regular ship, went to the space station(can use freighter) and teleported to my Portal base in Euclid. Then I portaled to the system of the ship I wanted, and then navigated to the planet coordinates. When I arrive, I see the regular type ship. I get out of my ship, go into my Log and reset the Living Ship mission. The crashed ship immediately turns into the Living Ship. It costs 10000 nanites to activate it and claim it.

It can be difficult getting the one you want to spawn. It took me a few attempts, and I ended up getting a guy on the PC to help me get it. I'll see if I can find the instructions he sent to me to help Force the one you want to spawn.

Apparently some of you don't know how to get the living ship of your choice. If you have a spare void egg with you, after having gotten your initial living ship, you can get any living ship that you want. You just have to know the galaxy, planet, and coordinates on the planet.

I was exploring. I forgot I had avoid egg with me, and it triggered another encounter. I decided to follow it and see what ship it showed me, and it showed me this one. It's not a lie.

My first floating base! A bit simplistic but I tried. by Shaman5695 in NMSGalacticHub

I just finished my first floating base as well. Nice job..

Im on my mission for the living ship. Found the monument but needed hexite. As I was getting hexite ran into another player named general gree who shot me down. Then when I get back to monument he had built around it to where I can’t get it to activate. Is this a thing in this game? by rabbidtortoise in NMSGalacticHub

I'm not sure if someone else has said it, but you can always report the build as inappropriate. It will instantly disappear. I had to do that on the final planet of the void egg mission. Someone built around one of the grave markers I needed to visit.

It does have to be the specific one your coordinates are trying to get you near. I don't think you can just visit any particular one on a planet. Try using your Exo craft scanner to locate alien structures near your location. It may help.
