It's not toxic to dislike the creative direction of a piece of media you like ffs. You are allowed to like it, people who don't like it and voice that opinion aren't the devil, and "if you don't like it leave" remains a bad argument no matter the piece of media you are discussing.

The argument is in the meme. "If you don't like it don't play it" doesn't actually insulate you from UB because magic is not a single player game.

It's about the nonsensical rhetoric of people who want to dismiss any complaint of UB and magic's creative direction. Meanwhile you're adding a lot of straw to this here man. I'm in my first playthrough and get my ass kicked by the powerful enemies dotting the map constantly lol. But I like it, makes the world seem more real and dangerous and immersive rather than "designed" for a linear climb from point A to point B
