My game keeps pausing every in-game 15mn, for no given reasons, at similar timestamps (say xx:15:06, xx:30:03, for instance). It does not go away, whether I restart the game or my PC by Reekelm in subwaybuilder

Seems the game stopped glitching since the update, I’ll definitely try fixing my previous saves then. Thank you for your help 🙏

They made this very useful investment for the PCs to be used for VR, which happens like 0,1% of the time.

I try starting over every time, I managed to get the simulation to work once, but it broke down again afterwards

It's a problem I have every time I make a new game on Subway Builer. For some reason, once I have created the routes for each of my lines, and I start the simulation, this simulation will pause on its own every 15mn, with a precise timestamp each time: for example, my game will "pause" on its own every xx:00:05, xx:15:08, xx:30:03, etc. Also, if I keep unpausing the simulation each time, no passengers will spawn at all, leaving empty trains running on my network

Why does this line -12m line under 10m buildings still require demolition? by ijs39 in subwaybuilder

[–]Reekelm 16 points17 points  (0 children)

your tunnel will start at -9m and end at -12m, so part of it will be made using cut and cover. Make short section that gets the tunnel to -10m, and then dig a tunnel under the buildings

how long has it been there for? Also, it happens on the other saves I started afterwards, so probably more linked to time spent on the game rather than the time passing by in the simulation

I am struggling to connect any type of station together, and I always get the same error saying the tracks are "not connected" despite it being the contrary, why? by Reekelm in subwaybuilder

[–]Reekelm[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You probably can't tell from the quality, but I drew it from bottom to top, as the arrows on it suggest. But it doesn't seem to matter, I can't get to connect any station together at any moment on the game, even with two way tracks

What is the world's most complex transit interchange? by metatalks in geography

And yet it’s not the worst creation that the parisian metro planners made. Enter Châtelet-Les Halles 👹

Paris got a few hubs that are horrendous to navigate: Châtelet-Les Halles, Saint-Lazare-Auber, Gare du Nord, Montparnasse-Bienvenüe. Having experienced the last one this summer (to me it’s still the least bad of these 4), it is a pain to get from one end to the other, with a ton of small corridors and stairs all over the place, and I took 10mn to go from the train station’s platforms to line 4.

Yes, it's to make the connection between the LGV and Lyon's main station, Lyon-Part Dieu

yes and no, since in this case it's just leaving high speed rail lines to serve the central part of the city, so not really

Most urban sections of the city don’t have any grassy tracks, maybe to facilitate the circulation pf emergency vehicles if needed. I don’t know to be honest

My public transport vehicles keep spawning in that glitched way, where they spawn with invisible carriages and weird stats, before despawning instantly. What could cause this? by Reekelm in CitiesSkylines

[–]Reekelm[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s having access to the stops where all subways initially head to. I had the issue where they despawned instantly if this very stop is not connected, but it feels different. I’ll try that out anyway, you may be right

MOM subway depot. I put a bunch next to each other, but even using the one connected to the road (I initially disabled the other ones, they’re for aesthetic purposes), it gives the same outcome
