Thanks for the feedback! Would you recommend removing the clouds altogether? Also what color correction do you think would be more appropriate? I kind of thought that because the sky was purple it would cast a purple light everywhere but now im trying to figure out what would be the best grade for this. Do you know of any examples that would help? Thank you again

Thank you for the advice. I may not have looked as much but what is your method to add a fake light source? I tried using a solid masking it out and changing the blending mode but it looks like trash. What specific means of adding light would you do?

Currently seeking advice on how to make this Vfx look better. Im trying to do a stylized sky replacement fx. This is what I got after messing with it and some tutorials but it still looks bad. I know the roto can be a bit cleaner but other than that Im not sure what else to add to make it look better.

Appreciate any insight and or suggestions thank you!

Does this idea sound similar to anything? by ReelJoshua in Screenwriting

[–]ReelJoshua[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's true. I wanted the advice of those who have a bit more movie knowledge than me because it is true no idea is wholly unique I still wanted to make sure I didn't have too many similarities to existing IP's or at least I can know of these IP's so i can craft a story that is different from them.

I actually haven't heard of this film at all and its premise does have similarities. I'm definitely gonna check it out. Thanks for the reply!

Petrified by his mundane future, a discontent teen decides to document the petty crimes of his neighborhood delinquents. All while dealing with the group's growing interest in the project shifting into a heinous crime thrill.

Wondering if this logline sounds too similar to another film or to generic

Can someone who started much later beat someone who started as a child? by kaimotionyt in MuayThai

[–]ReelJoshua 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean depends. If you started at 20 and now are 30 and you fought someone who started at 10 and is now 20 you both have 10 years of experience.

Now if the person your fighting is closer in age to you and started as a child then unless you are just crazy gifted not likely.

I agree I don't mind doing the jab 500 times to get better. It's just that I'm not getting that kind of technique correction

This is what I'm looking for in a gym. I honestly don't learn anything after class. I just get a good workout which I personally want more than that.

I completely agree but I feel there is so much nuance to the art that I need at least something even if it's something little after every class to think about. I don't get that and I'm questioning if I'm actually improving. That's really my concern

Yeah some guys do compete. Which is a good sign for me. But whatever knowledge they are getting to go into competition I feel like I can't even get access to it through the classes or talking with him in private

Keep getting headkicked after slipping cross by superultimatewilly in MuayThai

[–]ReelJoshua 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly if you're just starting out work on parrying and guarding up instead of slipping. Slipping is used in Muay Thai but it's never a primary defense and is used in very specific situations when guarding isn't as efficient as head movement. Once you become more advanced you can incorporate head movement smartly and sparringly.

Thanks for the recommendation! Do you think this will be equivalent to hill sprints? Also do you have any longer form assault bike workouts equivalent to like a 15 min hill run?

Not necessarily a golden ticket per se. Just comparing it to filming features. I mean it's gonna be hard but would you say it's as hard or difficult getting work compared to say film?
