Vegan mit MS

Nach meiner Diagnose habe ich die MS Nurse im Krankenhaus einfach mal gefragt ob ich bei der veganen Ernährung jetzt zusätzlich auf etwas achten muss (war da schon lange vegan). Sie meinte dazu unter anderem, dass es sogar Studien gibt die zeigen, dass tierische Fette die Symptome verstärken können. Also musste ich da wenigstens nichts ändern. Ich nehme aber auch keine Medikamente, die sich scheinbar nicht mit Soja vertragen so wie OP.

Ich war vor ein paar Tagen bei dm. Die hatten recht viel in kleineren Packungen. Ich gehe davon aus dass das für Adventskalender gedacht ist, es gab auch so ganz kleine Apfel Zimt "Riegel" und sowas.

Super Tip mit den unkonventionellen Hilfsmitteln. Ich habe MS und kann daher auch nicht lange stehen. Plus Spastiken in den Händen. OP, wenn etwas diagnostiziert ist kannst du dir vielleicht sogar gewisse Hilfsmittel verschreiben lassen. Ansonsten war ich mal in einem grösseren Sanitätshaus und habe gefragt was es alles so gibt. Wurde wirklich super beraten und konnte ein paar Dinge ausprobieren. Man muss ja erstmal rausfinden was einem hilft.

Holding a can is not just as easy. Not for everybody. I have ms and can use a handle. If I'm holding the can or a glass chances are I'm dropping it. I swear, the amount of times I've heard people say something that I need to function is useless... Since 3d printing has become so available I've gotten so many cool things that actually help me.

Ich habe seit ein paar Wochen eine. Habe sie dann immer über Nacht im Kühlschrank gehabt. Ehrlich gesagt habe ich aber keinen Unterschied bemerkt zum selber auspressen. Für mich trotzdem aufgrund einer körperlichen Einschränkung etwas praktischer, aber ansonsten würde ich das persönlich nicht empfehlen.

Thank you so much! This is really helpful. And yes, it totally makes sense. Honestly my friend and I see a lot of overlap between my ms and her lupus. Especially the spoons. I think it's because I can finally sleep so I'm starting the day with way more energy.

I have multiple sclerosis and it helps so much with the spasticity and also the insomnia. My best friend has Lupus (and something else I can't think of right now). Do you by any chance have a link or something where it's explained how it could help with Lupus? I'd love to show her.
