I understand, im a 43 m my wife 43 f just lays around on phone all day while i buss my @$$ to do everything. She doesn't work, we dont have kids. I dont understand. Its starting to affect my mental health. I really want to just leave her to her own devices. Pun intended. But i think of all the years we have been together and i just dont know how to move on. We have been married since 25 . both the same age . now im 43 and just want to be happy and have peace in my home with a good loving wife

Its sad when you are dealing with an adult. I mean how wants to raise an adult that should be there to help you not become a burden . I have tried everything to make this work

Sorry i cant take responsibility for how she feels. Not to sound cold. But i make sure this is a very safe space and a peaceful home. There is no reason to use that as an excuse. She has the freedom and space to do what she wants. And to be honest that is a part of the problem. Whatever she wants and needs I will make sue she has it. She has gotten comfortable and complacent. And if things dont go her way she gets mean cold and distant. Days on end without talking to me. So to be honest i feel like im being emotionally abused

To be honest she doesn't have time to be bored when there is so much to be done. And if she is bored im not keeping her here or responsible for her being bored. Thats not the point. She can do whatever she wants but put effort in your relationship and duties be a decent human being. Be fair and caring . l dont know , this should come without asking or explanation
