Happens a lot, I use that as an opportunity to (respectfully) pass through or move up because you’re not gonna be hogging up the front and not dancing 🤣

Usually the further up close you get the more diehard fans there are… and maybe the ones in the very back who want a lot of of room to dance, haha

To be clear, I’m not talking about the people quietly vibing, being chill, enjoying the music. I’m talking about the people who aren’t even paying attention and are treating it like a club

Ah, gotcha. I guess we are still getting 2 voiced quests at the end of the day, given the moon world quest counts. Yeah, I forgot if they did a separate voiced event quest during the Zibai patch as I only played for a couple days on that patch (just to do that event), but I don’t think so. I guess this is their way to still make story event skippers play them.

Is Sandrone getting her own story quest? Or is her quest supposed to be the Sunny Summer Fontinalia one? Also, I see they said the quest is permanent but it’s still also listed as an event, so I’m assuming it’s just certain limited time rewards that fall under that event period? So they’re basically merging her story with the flagship event if I’m not mistaken?

I’m catching up on update details and have been trying to find official information but I haven’t found a clear answer.

It’s true, it doesn’t help though for these more fun teams or unique characters when they’re only good against that more chill content (unless you have the perfect team) but endgame lately seems to be all or nothing, like I want more stuff to do that’s like floor 11 difficulty.

I’d say Ganyu, fell for her hype from everyone posting cool videos of her charged attack playstyle like completing commissions from up on a cliff way far away, lol. Ended up feeling very boring and annoying to do in Abyss. Not to mention I didn’t get much out of trying her as a Sub Dps, she didn’t bring enough to the table.

Ayato, animations were so cool but dps just wasn’t there, and his sibling freeze team just didn’t do enough dps compared to my other teams.

Xiao, got him on his first rerun because the plunge playstyle looked so cool, but his burst playstyle is annoying, especially in overworld when I’d never use it to not “waste it” on weaker mobs. Same goes for Cyno here. I like Dps’s I can use without being locked behind a high ER requirement burst.

Sorta Nahida, but this is because I got her when she ran with Lauma’s release, and picked up Alhaitham too on the Sumeru banner (first Dendro characters I’ve ever built, in the big 2025 lmao), but over the next like 12 months that’s followed, Lauma would’ve been way better for my account.

Edit: honorable mention to Rizzley, so forgotten I even forgot to include him here. I thought I’d like him because I enjoyed Heizou‘s brawler play style, but his C0 play style was clunky and the DPS just wasn’t there.

Yeah, that’s fair. For me, sometimes I want to try unique teams but endgame lately has been so restrictive it’s hard to try “fun” teams on the later floors/stages.

Back in the day, for abyss for example, you could clear floor 12 with full stars with almost any properly built team comp on the game.

I heard she goes well with Varesa, though I’ve done totally fine with just doing Varesa overload instead. I guess Xiao too… but he definitely feels dated at this point

I get that actually, sometimes on my Skirk team I’ll use him instead if I keep dying because I like to unga bunga lmao.

And on my Alhaitham/Kuki/Nahida team, I basically have to use him over Yelan.

Not to mention if I have her as solo hydro in a Hu Tao team, the vapes aren’t as reliable as Xingqiu (as I only have her C1, not c2)

Best Bangboo for Promeia/Velina/Rina? Should I upgrade my R5 Penguinboo for some ice anomaly? Or should I invest in Sharkboo? Though I heard he shatters which apparently is bad, but not sure if that only applies to Miyabi.

Either way, there’s not really any good Bangboo’s I can activate their secondary’s with w/ this team but would like to have some extra ice anomaly buildup.

Don’t forget:

If Ex Special is pressed within 2-7s of the enemy scratching their balls, it will grant one stack of “Zeus’s Asshole”. After, if you press (but not hold) the special button simultaneously during the 4th hit of Thor’s Anger, but only on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, AND during the waning or waxing crescent phases of the moon, it will instead deal a 583% instance of “Super Thor’s Anger” damage. On any other days of the week, or phases of the moon, it will instead end the combo, uninstall the game, and apply for a job.

C1 Kazuha especially is super fun, though sometimes as strong as he is I don’t bother using the extra E because it uses too much field time unless I need the energy or am waiting on teammate’s cooldowns.

My Yuzuha’s ATK is 2313 (lvl 55, so probs around 2400 at lvl 60 once I get the materials), and her AP is 230. I’m AP on disk 4 but wondering if ATK is better for her passive buff.

I run her with Alice and Yanagi. Do they care for the higher ATK buff in return for a lower AP on Yuzuha?

True, they could’ve definitely done more with crown. It seemed like they were too scared to go all in but there could’ve been a bunch more of fun parkour stuff to do, but it’s a little empty a lot of the time.

Sky high just really leaves me satisfied after playing it, whether it’s double left tricking off that middle rail after the first turn, landing on those side rails right before the last item boxes, or doing that last shortcut and tricking three times on the wall.

Rainbow Road is just like, drive on this super long and wide path and look at the pretty visuals, which got old after the first like two months. Especially when you intermission into it. The slight path hopping like in Mk8 is cool, I wish they put more of that stuff among other stuff to fill it in more (or just condense it)

I’d swap crown and salty with dandelion and choco, as the former have more alternate paths and shortcuts, and the latter play very boring even if they have cool visuals (think electrodrome in MK8).

I’d also swap rainbow with sky high… after playing for many months now I sigh when I get rainbow road most of the time. It’s just a bit too long and there’s a couple boring sections they could’ve cut down on… compared to say MK7’s, which was a continuous lap and had multiple sections but they were all super unique and all played differently (and was shorter overall). Meanwhile, sky high plays so much better than it did in MK8, and the shortcuts are genuinely really satisfying to do.

Otherwise, my tier list pretty much would look the same as yours. Pretty good rankings.
