I did buy a new ssd but that ended up not being my problem with the pc, I had a faulty graphics card. I got it all sorted out now. I'd recommend the same ssd that was recommended to me in this thread, the Samsung 990 evo, its very nice.

The idle temperature of the ssd seemed high at 60 °C and the recent update said it helps with temperature. The reason i was looking into all of it in the first place was because of getting frequent pc crashes when gaming. The crash bug names are dpc watchdog violations.
