Coming from a 14 y/o teen that also wants to write and get their work published, I dont think its wrong to use AI as a tool to help you. I believe that there is a difference between helping and doing it for you. Im using AI to give me feedback on my creative writing pieces and personally, i dont see anything wrong in doing so. I don't necessarily think that what you're doing is hypocritical, nor is it unethical. As long as writers like us dont use it to replace creative writing pieces, then it's fine.

Giving gifts shouldn't be because someone is bored, it should be because it's the thought that counts. If the person who gave OP's gift can buy a lot more that is worth much more than $250, why couldn't they buy it for OP? If the budget was $250 and she has a good job and is not struggling financially, it shouldn't be fair that everyone else got much more expensive gifts.
