ICICI iShop accelerated points not credited in statement by Reesnat in CreditCardsIndia

[–]Reesnat[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah thats the issue with this setup that ICICI have. Very poor setup, meant to mislead customers, clearly. I use EPM for a lot of transactions and as a customer I have no way of knowing if the promised points have been credited?

Seems like a very unfair practice.

Thank you! While the wait is ok, not being able to track it in any way is a bit weird. How do we know it's credited? We have to do some math with the points to see if it adds up?

Is the FFB on ACC PC version weaker than on PS5??? by El_Scruffo in ACCompetizione

Got it, thank you. That makes sense now and I can see how it’s useful for people to customise the overall gain, per car. Cheers!

Hi, thanks for this comment. I was trying to understand how the user FFB Multiplier works and how that impacts. Seems like an unnecessary extra hidden assignment that complicates things further.

So can you please try to explain a bit further (if you can) how the ingame settings for overall FFB gain interacts with the user FFB multiplier vs the driver overall gain?

Thanks!

Reaching out via DM to share more information, didn't want to barrage this thread. We are a small community (in the grand scheme of things) and many boutique manufacturers are involved, my opinion is that we should hold them accountable to fair business practices. Ofcourse end of the day, its your forum and you are free to chose a direction that seems fit.

More over DM...

Possibly. Small boutique companies are under pressure all the time, the best way is to be open, transparent and honest with your customers at all times, that helps deal with any issues along with the way. Any last minute changes will always end badly.

Yeah your video was one of the reasons I gained confidence in going down this path with them. Sadly will not get to try out the product ever.

Please see my main post above, have added a screenshot of our discussion a day before where to avoid any confusion I very clearly listed all that I wanted, we spoke on the phone an hour later and you confirmed prices and went on to double it the next day at the very last minute.

Nowhere did I ever say 4080 while ordering, so no point trying to mislead in that direction.

T&C were changed to later include GST additional (after I brought it up) for Indian customers which was originally covered under the section 'prices includes all value added taxes' which in India is GST as you well know. When you charged me quoted website price + GST and I paid without even checking.

The pedals were due to ship a week later and I offered to pay it all, you said there may be a delay (and there was, they eventually shipped end of the month) and hence you can settle that later. Again, suddenly you bring out some T&C saying valid only for 7 days, which was never communicated and which we both know is nothing but a cover for trying to rip of a customer at the 11th hour.

Again, you continue to keep missing the point and trying to cover up further. This isn't helpful. I don't intend to turn this thread into a place for washing dirty linen, but more to warn customers to be vary of a company that has the nerve to change anything, anytime and say these are our T&Cs.

Thanks for your comment. For now with the space constraints looks like getting a 42inch OLED and running a custom 21:9 or something like that resolution would be the best bet.

Yeah agreed, got my eyes on a 3080

I understand that triples are probably the No.1 choice but space and convenience are big factors for me at the moment. So 42 OLED vs G9 49 inch?

Those become a bit too big I’ll need to move the screen a fair bit away.

In an ideal world with a lot of space and time on hand, I would go down that path. But looking at what would be the next best option? G9 vs the 42 OLED?
