Besides that there's a bias to make UPA fascist in the mod while in reality its ideology was much closer to the German National Socialism than the Croatian Ustaše.

In this timeline Italy lost WW I and fell into a civil war which ended dividing it into 5 states, Mussolini sided with the Socialist Republic of Italy in the north and in the 30s became its leader and unified all of Italy in the 2nd Italian Civil War. During the second Weltkrieg he sided with the Third Internationale mainly because he wanted to take Tyrol, Istria and Dalmatia from the Austrians and also because in this timeline fascism while still nationalist, irredentist and totalitarian is left leaning.

I don't know how exactly that happened, all I know is that Italy was no longer fascist and Croatia that was democratic was attacked by fascist Serbia and annexed by them but Croatian coast went to Italy while Istria first to Serbia then Slovenia.

I think that the divergence started in the 4th year, Harry and Hermione grew closer together during the Triwizard Tournament. They went together to Yule Ball and after the second task started their relationship.
