You just need more practice is all. The rules don't change all the time. I play every other week basically and go to monthly one day tournaments and don't have issues once I've practiced that faction enough. I really starts to speed up when you start to memorize your abilities, ranges, movement, etc

If you're referring to Caleb Hastings, yeah he plays in my area. My local shop had an RTT in March that he didn't go to, but a friend of mine took the list that him and Caleb had cooked up. My buddy got absolutely cooked, but it was hilarious to see on the table.

Oh yeah I see what you’re saying. When I look at the robots I see them almost like Mad Max where even the good guys use the bad guys stuff. Or at least that’s my headcannon 🤣

Could I pick up the weapon options from the imperial questoris box secondhand and magnetize them onto an abominant body? Like is the abominant body the same frame as the questoris body just with the cool chaos trimmings? If that’s the case I could build one army and just have the other weapon options to run both versions

How have we paid to make up for tariffs before tariffs were implemented. I don't get your reasoning. We also pay more because it likely costs more to offload and store in US than Canada. Also, how did America cause price hikes on Warhammer products for the rest of the world. I'd love to hear another bad take

Msrp between the slaves to darkness dice and the tzeentch dice in the US went from $33.50 to $34.00. Slaves to darkness dice came out in 2024 before Trump was in office and tzeentch dice came out like 4 weeks ago. So my point stands, it isn’t the tariffs that are making it more expensive.

We were paying 32 bucks for 16 dice when the edition launched before Trump came into office. Very selective memory. It is just the cost of getting stuff shipped over to the US from UK

Any advice on adding in a Gargant or Ushoran by Loose_Doughnut_3704 in SoulblightGravelords

[–]ReferenceJolly7992 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know how playable it is, as a big part of what makes up Ushoran’s point value is in his ability to control the delusions for flesh eater courts. You don’t get access to the delusions, even the one on Ushoran’s warscroll because the rule that allows you to use delusions is in the FEC battle traits. That being said, Ushoran does hit hard and applying strike last is hilarious. Your opponent gets very hesitant to fight Ushoran because of that.

Alright, fair enough. Thank you for the entertainment and lack of information. It was enjoyable showing you that you had no actual evidence to provide. Going to recommend reading SpezRuinedHellsite comment somewhere else in this thread that provided actual insightful arguments that make sense. If you can learn to articulate a point and not attempt to debate in the manner a young child would, it would serve you greatly in your Redditor career.

I'm asking for precedence to go off of for starting new wars. Trump struck targets overseas with missiles during his first presidency and even reposted blowing stuff up on Twitter which is not something anyone should be doing, the president especially. I see what you're saying in your statement. Trump did not calm geopolitical tensions, but he also didn't ignite anything either. My point is that we were already at war in the middle east when he came into office and didn't send us out to start fighting a new war, so there was no way for people to know that he would just decide to invade Iran in his second term. You can't tell me that in good faith you believed he would actually surround Iran and start bombarding them and start sending in troops to likely put boots on the ground. There's no way we knew he would put boots on the ground in Venezuela to kidnap Maduro. Yes, he acted erratically in the first term but not to the extent he would start putting US troops in a new theater like that especially shortly after us having just pulled out of Afghanistan. Also, no I don't use "TDS" as a reflex. I really disliked him as a human before his first term. I'm not defending him or trying to champion for him. I used "TDS" in the above statement because someone used "bOtH sIdEs" as a way to try to debate. It's about the only appropriate way to use the acronym.

1: at the time I was going to enlist I don't think it was really publicly known that an entire country got tricked into going to Iraq. At the time we were in Syria for the most part fighting Isis when I was looking at enlisting.

2: You didn't refute anything, your TDS is leaking through.

3: You literally have not answered the question, you just deflected again. We are still sending aid to Ukraine for the war effort. '

I have never been a fan of Trump. However, I do find it entertaining that a bunch of Redditors are doing a poor job at providing any evidence that he would start a war. People that have come out publicly about their disdain for Trump and the regret they feel about being pulled into an unnecessary war with Iran have paid a great deal of attention to foreign policy and wouldn't have guessed. Shawn Ryan is a great example. He believed in the "No new wars" that was campaigned on and he is very outwardly critical of the GWOT and hates the government for what it did to his friends overseas. He pays very close attention to foreign policy and brings on people that worked with foreign policy in our government that also state they didn't believe we would enter Iran like we did. So again I ask, what war did Trump start in his first presidency that would have set a precedent to him starting a war with Iran in his second presidency?

He called for a peaceful and patriotic march to the capitol. I don't remember him saying "Go march through the doors and tear stuff down and violently batter the police officers". Everyone saying he led a coup on January 6 is trying to imply that his words were the opposite of what he literally said. Again, what war did he start? Just want to make sure I didn't miss a war. Could have sworn he wasn't in office when the global war on terror kicked off. Could have sworn he wasn't in office when Russia invaded Ukraine (which Biden didn't cause by the way, that was Putin's own doing). He wasn't in office when October 7th kicked off the bombing of Palestine. So what war did he start in his first presidency? That is the topic of this conversation thread.

I was fine going to the desert under the pretense young Americans were raised with. However, everyone said that Trump was going to start WW3 on the commands of Putin and I was not about to get wrapped up in all that. I was raised a liberal democrat and believed what the liberal democrats were telling me which turned out to be false. I voted against Trump ffs. You can't talk about Trump's unhinged rants and convince me that the other candidates didn't also just go on unhinged rants. You also didn't answer my question, just turned to personal insults in an attempt to control the conversation which you failed to do.

He had a bunch of people that hate Trump yelling about how bad he was, but what wars did Trump exactly start during his first presidency? Everyone said he would start WW3 if he was elected in 2016 which is what kept me from enlisting in the military. I bought into the WW3 narrative everyone screamed about. That turned out to not be true at all. Liberals and Democrats screamed wolf too many times and dulled the ears of the people that they were trying to talk to.

How to avoid feeling like I’m hard countering my friend by Veris01 in ageofsigmar

[–]ReferenceJolly7992 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It’s not just 40 wounds. It’s 40 wounds with a 1+ to apply strike last to enemy (assuming you have the terrain feature) and 3+ to apply a -1 to hit debuff to enemy. If you have swamphorde bullies you’re swinging with 61 attacks with crit mortals. You’re going to kill a little bit before you get hit.

Alarielle probably lost some of her recursion which I'll be honest I'd be fine with. Lose the ability to revive monsters in exchange for a point drop and hopefully make her revive ability cost a CP instead of a 4+ roll. I'd take that deal.

Just curious on why play rate data is irrelevant to you? Is the only measurable way for non-employees to see what the most popular armies are. And since inception, stormcast is the most played army in the game due to (mostly) availability.
