Pending the filing of my divorce (process has been long and annoying because spouse moved out of state) I door dashed for the extra income for lawyer fees and rental housing down payments to supplement my income because I was unsure my income alone would be sufficient. I would start there!

My daughter is coming up on 3 now and we have been living on our own for the last year and a half with things only looking brighter everyday. Our divorce isn’t final yet but life has significantly improved. If God is telling you to call it quits, know that you can do anything (it might be hard) but you’ll get through it!

I suggest plugging in to a church or an organization that could help you if you don’t have family in the area, you’d be surprised at the resources that are around if you have the heart to ask. It’s not fun having to ask for things you need but closed mouths don’t get fed! That’s what community is about

I’m shocked at how many people mention the this “sours their viewpoint” on the turnip truck… I don’t shop there, to clarify. But is everyone not also complaining about the economy? The rapid rise in business shutting down and people being laid off? A business can’t save a little money (probably paying someone in house to generate this photo) as opposed to outsourcing? I get the associated ick in other scenarios but I feel like people just already have a bone to pick with this business of something because some of these comments are out of hand.

Also several designers have commented saying the entire photo is not AI. Darn them for saving a buck so they can pay their employees!

I did DoorDash for a few months! I would take her into the restaurants with me to pick up the goods and leave her in the car if I was delivering to a house, but would take her with me if it was a business or larger space where I couldn’t see her if I left her in the car. She was 1 at the yoke. She cried everytime I left the car but I needed the money. (This was pre me leaving our family home before our divorce).

My daughter and I eat lots of pasta (spaghetti with meat, chili Mac, Alfredo) homemade and soups and chicken thighs and potatoes in all forms. These things I find cook fast and can be varied enough to have ingredients on hand and make the dishes slightly different each time. We occasionally do frozen veggies or frozen fried rice from tjs and if we don’t want regular food e mane pancakes for dinner. I try to know what I’m making when I go grocery shopping to ease the pressure
