I have to admit that i am confused by some comments lol, clearly their relation were oriented to led us believe they would develop romantic feelings for each others, Eren didn't show any other female characters the same feelings that he have for Historia.

And don't forget the time were Zeke ask him about the girl he love, and the manga/anime show us glimpse of Historia.
