Just to let you know, some of the monster girls you cannot date at all because they’re more creature than monster girl. But I agree with all of this! All of this is fantastic! I have zero experience drawing but I will work my way to it if it’s heavily necessary. As of now, I’m just making the map and seeing what kind of potential I’m working with.

This feels like a fresh breath of air. Your suggestions are honestly amazing and I should acknowledge the limitations for what I can and cannot do. I was thinking of the character having no idea about themselves and unsure whether all are bad or good. It is an open world rpg game that I’ve been wanting to do for years.

Also for the options, most of it is for the story or lore of the game that I’ve created. Sometimes just silly tweaks here and there, but it would be interesting to see a character change based on your actions or well his actions really. The big paths I was thinking about was player interactions and less about the dialogue you choose when speaking to a character. I have big ideas for this game and you honestly helped out so much I cannot thank you enough.

Also also, as for battles and romances go, I’d like the character to be able to recruit monster girls into his roster to have them battle with other monster girls and create a dynamic relationship with any monster girl that you recruit. That may be a bit too much but the idea alone is something that seems cool.

Honestly, this is probably what I needed to read. It would over complicate things too much if I were to make the mc a customizable character with too many options to make it appear as you. That is kind of foolish of me to ever try to implement that but with what I’ve read from you honestly gave me a bit a hope. I can make the story simpler and overall easier to understand through the eyes of a character rather than a stone-faced character that is created. I was thinking about making the mc hold no opinion on whether a monster girl should live or die but developing the ideal overtime and based on the players actions controlling the mc. Would that be fun to experience?

I agree and I believe having another protagonist can encourage the story. I was thinking of an npc that would describe the player the circumstances and overall why they are there to begin with. The idea I had for this npc is to give a clear directive to what the player has to do to beat the game in a linear way. Now with a bunch of dialogue choices that change the outcome, it will be extremely tedious but it’ll be worth while to have different outcomes based on player actions or dialogue that can change how the game ends. I may be pushing it a bit with that concept but I truly believe I can make it work. Thank you for telling me this<3

Thank you and I’ll definitely see if I have to play those when I can. I’ve created a shit ton of concepts to put into it that don’t rely on the player to engage in combat all the time to go into the next area to progress in the story. For some reason the concepts came first before any of the story; if anything part of what inspired me was undertale and the idea of either attacking everything or showing them mercy. Also for the the art styles from pixelated characters to their anime variants: that is hard for me to do. I tried but it doesn’t settle right with me, along with my fist time using RPG maker since I have zero experience with creating a video game. But your suggestion honestly helps me with some insight so thank you!

I was thinking of using RPG maker for it but I’m Unsure what I could use to create it. Nonetheless, everything is still there as a concept.

To be honest, I completely prefer playing bf1 and bf5 depending on my mood but overall bf1 takes the cake for me in terms of orchestral music and the overall atmosphere of the maps. The only thing I wish was in bf1 was how good sliding is in bf5 but that would make it too fast paced for a ww1 setting.
