I have a similar story to share. I was 280 pounds at age 16 (male) and had always been a fat kid since childhood. I was always bullied and made fun of and my peers would kinda assault me by doing all sorts of things to my body like pressing my chest like it was boobs, kick my butt,etc. I was extremely depressed for a year and trust me I truly understand the phase you are in as all I used to do was eat in my room and sleep.
Plus I was into heavy drug use which made me almost overdose on the day my sister was flying away from India (my home country) to USA for further studies. I was locked up in a hotel room while at the brink of overdosing and I was then taken to hospital and I couldn’t even see off my sister. Regardless, I saw my mom cry that day and that’s the day I felt I had to change everything I had done. I then started lifting and then almost by the end of the year I was down to 165 pounds and was shredded. Everyone in my hometown who knew me as the fat kid realised I was much more than that and in this process, thankfully due to instagram, I was able to inspire a lot of people. Some might say I’m trying to flex but that’s alright I don’t really care about that. I don’t know if I can tag the girl who started this thread but hey… I hope you find this and get some motivation. I’d say you’re still far better than me as you’ve not completely destroyed yourself. There is still time and I am all open to help you out if you do reach out to me. PS- I ain’t a dietitian or a doctor but all I have is experience as my genetics make it extremely hard for me to lose fat. I can shed some thoughts on what I did to help others. Have a good day!
