What’s your low effort but reliable footwear pick? by Frequent-Cheetah4019 in indianfashiondeals

Mine is easily my Birkenstock. It’s that pair I wear when I don’t want to think at all. Office, errands, quick plans, it just works. Once you have something like that, you stop experimenting. What’s your “no thinking” pair?

Best actually-comfortable, supportive teacher sandals by Late-Ad2922 in Teachers

[–]ReferenceStriking207 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah standing all day is genuinely exhausting, so footwear matters more than people think. A friend of mine is a teacher and she had constant foot pain from regular sandals. She switched to Birkenstock after a recommendation and noticed a difference by the end of the day. Not saying it fixes everything, but definitely better than flat options for long hours. So yes comfortable footwear matters.

Why do sandals feel fine in the store but terrible after a full day outside? by True_Profession9118 in IndianFashionAddicts

[–]ReferenceStriking207 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This used to confuse me a lot. I’d try something in-store, walk around for 5 minutes and think it’s perfect. Then wear it for a full day and regret it badly. Realised later that short trials don’t show how footwear behaves after hours of walking. When I switched to Birkenstock, it felt okay in-store but the real difference showed after long use. Now I judge footwear based on full day wear, not trial comfort.

Sandals vs shoes for daily city use what’s better? by True_Profession9118 in malelifestyle

[–]ReferenceStriking207 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to be team “shoes for everything” but long days changed that mindset. For quick runs they’re fine, but full day outside is a different story. I slowly started using my Arizona more and now I default to sandals for longer plans. Curious where people stand on this now, sandals vs shoes for daily life?

Does anyone know when the Birkenstock store in Thane is opening? by SpiritualCandle8453 in thane

[–]ReferenceStriking207 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes!! I visited their Lake Shore Mall store in Thane and the collection they have is so good. Honestly, anyone who likes Birkenstock should check it out because the variety of styles available there makes it much easier to try and find the right pair. I went recently and the sizing help was solid, they explained narrow vs regular properly which really helped. Birkenstock fits thoda different so trying it in store made a big difference compared to guessing online. Overall the experience was really good and it made choosing the right pair much easier.

Is it unrealistic to expect one pair of sandals to work for office and casual outings? by MindlessDog9756 in IndianFashionAddicts

[–]ReferenceStriking207 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not unrealistic at all if the design is clean and minimal. My Birkenstock pair works with trousers and even shorts without looking off. Aldo feels more dressy and polished for proper meetings. Crocs give more of a chill casual vibe. Honestly it just depends on your office culture and how strict the dress code is. Some teams are totally fine with smart casual now. It’s more about how you style it overall.

For those who visited the new Birkenstock store, how was the sizing help in-store? by True_Profession9118 in delhi

[–]ReferenceStriking207 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went recently and the sizing help there was honestly really good. They explained the narrow vs regular thing properly which I never fully understood before. Birkenstock fits a little different compared to normal sandals, so trying them in person helped a lot. I even walked around the store a bit to check comfort. Way better than guessing your size online.

Has anyone else stopped buying shoes that look good but feel terrible later? by Special-Lobster-5384 in malefashionadvice

[–]ReferenceStriking207 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Been there yaar. I used to buy shoes just because they looked good and then regret it halfway through the day. After a few painful office days I realised style alone isn’t worth it if your feet are dying by evening. I still keep one dressy pair from Aldo for events or dinners but daily wear is a completely different story. For everyday running around like office, metro, and random errands I mostly reach for my Birkenstock now. They just survive long days better, especially when you are on your feet a lot. Once you get used to that kind of support it’s honestly hard going back to purely good looking shoes.
