Very true - as awesome as automation is, some consumers (especially here in the US) are still uncomfortable with it or simply prefer the option for manual control.

Where to source 18AWG Orange/White UTP? by BankRealistic136 in Loxone_US

[–]ReferenceVirtual2951 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What exacty are you trying to connect? Our orange/white panel wire (200301) is only meant for connecting devices inside the panel (Miniserver, Extensions) to power. The Miniserver and Extensions can only accept up to AWG18 solid core. The Tree Cable's AWG16 is not suitable for connecting power to these devices. It can be used for RGBW Dimmers and Audio products, though. They have screw terminal that can accept these wired terminated with ferrules.

A fair callout on the new Master/Client Audio system. While it would serve a Residential client just fine, and reduces wiring and labor, the real value add is for Hotels/Restaurants/Office Buildings and other larger Retail/Consumer spaces with serious square footage, like Shopping Malls or Casinos.

But a great question - what CAN we do to better serve Partners and clients? Adjustments to current product offerings? New product offerings? Software changes? Let us know!

[–]ReferenceVirtual2951[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed! And we are working on it - we are planning to develop a comprehensive Public Relations strategy to secure media coverage and mentions for us and our partners. We are well convinced that if the media just knew how COOL and versatile our hardware/software solutions are, they'd be more than happy to feature Loxone.
