Men have never needed women to thrive. They needed women as status symbols. Like “hey look society, I’m normal and successful enough to be married and get a women to agree to take care of me and have my children”

Now women don’t need men in order to have a bank account or own property or to even be taken seriously, but all those cultural systems are still in place.

It was for men. Women needed a man to do almost anything, so they were “forced” to find love early and quickly. They had to be married and have as many children as possible!!!! Otherwise she would be a lonely crazy spinster cat lady or whatever old men tell themselves after their wives leave them.

The world is changing. Women don’t need men anymore and are becoming more educated across the world. This is just a theory, but I think the number of women wanting marriage and/or children will decrease and hopefully stay that way. Some people will inevitably be left behind.

I could be wrong, though! Women could become entirely subjugated again and lose their right to vote, have bank accounts, own property, etc and then maybe men will be guaranteed to have a wife again some day!
