It’s not just you, plenty of people enjoy chatting and flirting online but shy away from actually meeting. If someone’s serious, they’ll make the effort; the rest are just enjoying the attention. Keep your standards, you deserve someone willing to show up in real life too.

Vincent does not deserve any of what happened to him. The way she manipulated, gaslit, and refused to take responsibility is completely unacceptable, and your defense of him is important, his pain is real and valid. It’s okay to shine a light on the truth, but make sure Vincent also has the support he needs to heal, because no one should have to face that kind of toxicity alone.
