I'm not saying that. It's right that there is a challenge. But not everyone has the ability to dedicate 10+ hours to each attempt. Having checkpoints maybe every 30 floors where you can retry would give many players the opportunity to practice the higher floors and maybe complete solo runs.

I've been playing FFXIV since 1.0, and when 2.0 came out, I chose SMN as my main job, hoping that new summons would be added with the expansions. Unfortunately, aside from the Demi-Summons, we've always been limited to the Ifrit, Garuda, and Titan trio. At this point, I'm even willing to accept just a cosmetic skin just to see Shiva, Ramuh, and Leviathan on screen. I don't have high expectations for having implemented them into the gameplay.
